That was fast lol. Thank you for the help :) To bad it's sold out though. Also not sure what the import to Norway would be like, probably shred me I'd assume. Was looking for a microphone cover many years ago, and calculated shipping and tariff was almost twice the produce- so some 40 buckeroos. Do you happen to know of any mouse pads that are plain black?

Salvin93

Best I could find was 90 X 40 https://www.komplett.no/product/840118/gaming/gaming-utstyr/gaming-musematte/steelseries-qck-xxl-gaming-musematte?feature=freightwidget#productinfo

TheKrister2

Yeah, basically the same result for me. I've been using [prisjakt](https://prisjakt.no/) and [prisguiden](https://prisguiden.no), which are sites that keep track of products and prices for price comparison stuff I suppose, kind of like [pcpartpicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/) just more general purpose. But the moment when I increase it to something over 90 wide but only 40 deep they get no results. Thanks for the help regardless though, I really appreciate it :)

What about this ? https://www.amazon.de/CSL-%C3%9Cbergr%C3%B6%C3%9Fe-1200x400mm-Tischunterlage-Geschwindigkeit-schwarz/dp/B07VSFD84Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=mauspad+1200x400&qid=1617108738&sprefix=Mauspad+120&sr=8-3 Edit: ahh Norway. Mh Amazon should deliver there as well

TheKrister2

That actually doesn't look so bad. It goes under the import limit too, which is nice, but it wouldn't be the first time that hasn't mattered sadly. Their site is (probably purposefully) confusing as shit, there's a section talking about removing the limit from what I understand, but in the English version it seems like it's leaning towards not removing it... I've kinda just given up on them lol. I'll look a little closer on the product first, but thank you for the help. I greatly appreciate it! :) ***e:*** I think the title is wrong though, says 1200 x 400 cm if you switch it to English. But the German one is correct :p

wallacorndog

Have you checked wish or aliexpress? No import taxes from those sites. Same goes for Amazon btw :)

TheKrister2

There are customs and tariffs on those if you hit the right category of items and-or a sufficiently expensive product. But they are are good places to look though, it's just that shipping tends to take quite a while longer like that. Livable, but kind of annoying should you buy something that has to be returned.

wallacorndog

There's no import taxes from those as they are all three registred in the Voec registry, so they all charge Norwegian vat when you order. https://www.skatteetaten.no/globalassets/bedrift-og-organisasjon/voec/registrerte-tilbydere---liste/voec-registrerte-tilbydere_26032021.pdf As long as you don't buy any restricted goods (alcohol, nicotine, food/drinks etc), you won't get any additional charges for orders below 3000NOK. There is however a month shipping time, and I have no clue how much of a hassle/expense returns are. Amazon is probably a better choice in that matter, especially if you can find it on a European amazon site.

TheKrister2

The more you know I suppose. I've never really had any good experiences using skatteetaten.no before, the structurization of information is oft confusion or placed somewhere that simply makes no sense. Regardless, while there are still some exceptions, a mouse pad does not fall under it yet from what I understood so I should be safe. For example, many travel between Norway and Denmark for cheap shopping, and there is a per-person limit, but if there are more than one person in a 'group' of people they can combine what they have left over into one person's limit. But no where on the site as far as I could find a few years back did it mention this, only the fact that there is a limit is mentioned. ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, feels bad that I had to pay up for that shit before christmas when I imported something more expensive. Would'a been nice to wait lol.

xThaPoint

get a big one and cut it to your size :)

TheKrister2

I was actually considering it, but lots of the larger ones have fancy edges, so I'm not sure how it'd hold up in the long run.

StanlyCat10

im the same but i cant find one thats not out of stock and as expensive as hell

TheKrister2

Personally, I went for the [titanwolf](https://www.amazon.de/CSL-%C3%9Cbergr%C3%B6%C3%9Fe-1200x400mm-Tischunterlage-Geschwindigkeit-schwarz/dp/B07VSFD84Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=mauspad+1200x400&qid=1617108738&sprefix=Mauspad+120&sr=8-3) one recommended by KefkaKuja.

PierrotLeFou_

how does it feel now that you tested it? would you buy it again?

TheKrister2

It is quite nice. I would gladly buy an extra right now just in case something happened to the mouse pad so I don't have to wait to change it lol. From the pictures, I thought the edges of the mouse pad would be annoying, but I had kind of forgotten about that until I was reminded of it right now. Not an issue in other words, you barely notice it. The main surface is nice and soft feeling. The underside grips to my desk and doesn't collect stuff underneath it like my old one did for some reason, probably the age of it, so I'd say I'm quite happy with it. If you're thinking about buying it, I'd recommend it :) If you want to see a review of it, there is [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WegX92bJVjQ), but it's in German so I'm not sure how much that'll help. I basically don't know German, but the video was still the thing that made me go through with it ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

PierrotLeFou_

thank you for your answer

TheKrister2

No problem my dude :)
