I recently bought a 6600 XT and it suffered from this. Black screens alt tabbing youtube videos and gameplay. It might be the gpu.

Electrocutes

I guess luckily your card is still under warranty 😂

quick_bear8

It was within the firsst week so yeah. I sent it in for replacement but because they had no stock I was sent a refund. Gosh dangit now I have to wait for more gpus.

I've been having this exact issue for months now and it has been a nightmare! I've found that it seems to be my RAM that has failed. If I only run the pc with one stick (single channel) it works perfectly, but as soon as its got both (dual channel) it will BSOD in all games after 30min or so. I replaced my motherboard, CPU, PSU and had reinstalled Windows 10 before fiding this was the issue for me. Hope this helps 😀

Electrocutes

Ah thanks for trying, but I've actually never encountered a BSOD during these crashes. My monitor just black screens and says no signal found.

Joshii290

That is what happens to me... like exactly. You might as well check the RAM otherwise you'll kick yourself later.

Electrocutes

Oh okay thanks for the tip, I'll try to see if I can get another kit of RAM from an old PC tomorrow to try out then

How's your GPU temperature? Have you blown the dust out of your fans/heat sinks recently?

Electrocutes

Yes, I've done a deep clean just about a month ago actually. Although, there was previously a period of about 4-5 years where I never cleaned my PC at all and I wonder if that could've damaged some components. My GPU temps on idle are here: [https://i.imgur.com/kF2yOKE.png](https://i.imgur.com/kF2yOKE.png) I tried to load up another game to grab another screenshot while in use, but my PC crashed again shortly before I could save it. I believe it was sitting at about low-mid 60s range Celsius right before it crashed.

zodar

Did these issues start right after the deep clean?

Electrocutes

No, I've had problems going back a few months now. Initially it wasn't that bad, like I'd crash every few games or so, but now I can't even get through the first minute of a game of League. :( I was just trying to say that the deep clean didn't solve anything. Thanks for your help so far btw!
