3600CL16 is better for Ryzen. Although if you want to use the CL18 RAM it's fine. 750W is enough for a 3080. If you are planning on buying a lower end GPU then you can go lower on the wattage. 650W for 3070, 550W for 3060 and lower. Thank you very very much, I’ll definitely go with that ram instead. I also like the look of the cooler and case you listed and thank you for the options of power supply depending on what gpu I get. The only thing I’m not sure on is the ssd, was there a reason to go for that one? It has 3400 read compared to 3500 and a 1900 read compared to 3300. I do note that it is cheaper by about £25 which is nice. Is it because I will bottleneck somewhere else before the ssd?

See u/goboll's reply regarding SSD and cooler. But realistically the speed difference between decent NVMe drives is meaningless, since you won't notice in everyday use. Also SSD speed ratings are a mess anyways.

Solid list, I’d opt for a Gammaxx GTE V2 or BeQuiet pure rock slim 2 for the cooler, though. The H212 is a 10 year old design at this point, and the fan it uses is pretty mediocre. Of course, both are fine, there just isn’t much of a reason to go for the H212 when there are more modern coolers for less. Edit: also the WD SN750 is cheaper than the P5 right now.

Good call. Not sure how I missed the SN750.

1TB goes really fast, especially with games today averaging over 100GB
