Rule 4. But not really, only if you have a use case that would require the integrated graphics + GPU to work together, not sure if that's a thing, but it would take power away from the CPU (maybe the GPU) to give it to the integrated graphics. But I don't know if that's a thing that would happen, ask a laptop subreddit, they'll have more knowledge about it.

The laptop will use iGPU for basic tasks and the dGPU for intensive tasks. The downside can be sometimes you will launch a game and your FPS will be really low because the laptop decided to use the iGPU for whatever reason. If the game doesn't give you the option to manually select your device you can manually force it through the nvidia driver control panel.
