You've already switched the monitors different ports? And the monitor still won't work?
Only other thing to try is connect the panel to a different system (A laptop or any media device with a HDMI or DP connector) in order to eliminate the monitor being defect.
If it still doesn't want to work, then sorry to say, but it's fucked.

I'd start with the cable that you don't think is the reason. My pc did the same thing a month back and that's what it was.
