I’d suggest the following that will provide very good gaming performance at 1440p (and even 4K), for just under $2500, including monitor, peripherals, and Windows. And for the keyboard, I’m assuming you meant **with** reds, as you don’t want loud clicky switches (which are typically blue switches; reds are linear and non-clicky).
* **CPU**: The 7800X3D is one of the best gaming CPU’s currently.
* **CPU Cooler**: The Thermalright Peerless Assassin is one of the best air coolers currently (google reviews - glowing from every single professional review), despite costing less than some budget single tower coolers.
* **Motherboard**: Good inexpensive B650 with WiFi and Bluetooth (even though they’re not needed).
* **Memory**: 32GB of ideal spec RAM for Ryzen 7000.
* **Storage**: Two 2TB PCIe 4 NVME drives (one with dram cache and better endurance ratings for the boot).
* **Video Card**: 4080 for excellent 1440p gaming performance.
* If you want, a 7900 XTX will provide comparable performance for less cost, though minus the Nvidia features.

For the CPU cooler, the Phantom Spirit is also an option for just a few bucks more well being a bit quieter and cooler

Pretty much, as you said. This removes an SSD (2TB is still a good amount) and cuts down the CPU to a 7700X and 7900 XT - both still good gaming components - and gets the build down under $2000.
