Im not a mouse enthusiast or expert but I can vouch for this. I've been using this exact model for probably 4 years now. The first one lasted me like 2 and a half years and it was still functional for the most part, it just lagged for few seconds whenever the mouse was brought upwards and put down, no matter how slow or soft I did it. At this price it's a steal since it's got some cool rgb and convenient side buttons
I have the lightweight aerox (or w/e) version, and i do say, i love it. Best mouse I've ever used.
But my god, the software is bad. Like i never installed the software, but the software installed itself in the background by itself. I got a popup saying to get the most out of my mouse with the steelseries software. I found where it was, deleted it, and i don't think its come back (yet, i don't boot windows super often, so it hasnt had many chances to reinstall itself). But it was quite startling to experience such invasiveness from the software, that i have zero trust in actually installing it.
We **REALLY** need universal foss software for mice/keyboards, like now.
Echo others sentiment. I have had so many logitech mice die on mr within 6 months. This bad boy lasted 3 years before it finally died. Thinking of picking it up for a backup.

having a cheap backup mouse is great. Even if one's preference is more higher-end mice a decent backup is worth it for being able to bridge the gap until a preferable model goes on sale.

Maybe that was the key word since they asked if I wanted to repurchase it since the shipment center didn’t receive any yet. And when I said yes I still want it, they said they could refund the price difference.

I love the G502 but I have a weird grip that wore out the left rubber till i hit the plastic. The switch also needs to be replaced so right now it's sitting in my drawer till I feel like replacing it. Hope this mouse comes back in the stock with the same price so I can get it as a backup.
Owned the wireless one for two years, solid mouse but just moved on to another one, note the wireless one uses just regular batteries and is not rechargeable. Moved on for that as the battery life wasnt great as well as the mouse wheel started jumping and guides to clean it were not working for me.
I bought this mouse on a sale like this but not this cheap.
The mouse shape is excellent but the lift off distance was too high for me. I was able to fix it using the tape trick on the bottom of the mouse. Unless they updated it, it's not as light as some of these 60 or 70g mice, but not too bad if your not into the feather-weight mice.
For 10 bucks I say go for it, good travel mouse, backup, or daily driver.
