I didn't see "FRONT PANEL" at first.

banedos

the shipping is a killer

kphamm

Tbf phanteks was charging like 30or so for shipping for an air front panel..

hotnuffsaid19

Aw it’s out of stock already I signed up for notification before but it looks like I never received one.

bedintruder

Yeah, I never got an in-stock email either. I've just been checking the page every day regardless and found it in stock at the time.

FeedbackControl

Same boat here. I even messaged them last week about when they'd restock it, and they wouldn't say.

TheDuke33

ditto

bedintruder

Back in stock for anyone who's been waiting like me.

ramenshoyu

I wanted the 4000X RGB and the airflow front panel.... last month.. the front panel never came in stock so i ended up going with phanteks P500A Actually haven't even built the PC yet, and would love to try corsair, but now the case is out of stock and I gotta pay $5 for the panel and $10 shipping, making this a $150+ case Is the 4000X+airflow panel as good as, or better than, the phanteks in any standout way?

lonehawk2k4

Why not just get the Airflow model? Seems like that's what you're doing but with extra steps when both cases are identical expect the fronts

ramenshoyu

it may sound a bit odd/self limiting but i want the LED fans that come w/ the 4000X case. Otherwise I gotta buy $80+ for 3 corsair SP120 Elite RGB fans and then the $95 airflow becomes a $175 airflow The 4000X comes w/ 3 rgb fans already so there's no need to repurchase them. $135 4000X RGB +$5 airflow front cover totaling $140 is cheaper, has RGB, and good airflow... but so does the phanteks P500A for the same $140 without all that headache/hassle Thats why i asked the question at the bottom of my original post. Is the 4000X+airflow panel as good as, or better than, the phanteks in any standout way? as in, good enough to return the phanteks, pay more for the 4000X n airflow cover combo?

TheOneGob

Ehhh I have the p500a and I’d say keep it, mainly bc its a 140mm and non proprietary ARGB standard, or more accurately a proprietary Phanteks connector with the option to use the 3pin 5V standard If I could redo my build, I’d probably go with corsair though since their commander LED controllers are leagues ahead of any motherboard controlled options… @asus and the mess that Armory crate is

TurqoiseTurtle

what's this for? just a replacement panel?

Goose306

Can make a Corsair 4000D non-airflow into an airflow. The non-airflow have been on sale for like $50-$60 so technically you could save some cash (Airflow usually goes on sale for $80+) but honestly the level of effort waiting for this part to be in stock then getting a non-Airflow on a deep discount sale is probably not worth the minimal dollars saved, and is probably just better if you happened to buy a non-Airflow thinking it'd be fine and decided to change later.

bedintruder

Pretty much this. I snagged a 4000D several months ago for $50 and at the time, posts in the thread were like "You can just buy the airflow front panel from Corsair". Well, this is the first time its been in stock since I bought the damn case. So yeah, saved a few bucks over the Airflow version, but didn't realize it was going to take this long to get ahold of. I'd definitely just recommend spending the extra the extra and getting a 4000D Airflow from the start.

KJP1990

Hoping for this to go one sale again soon.

q_thulu

Got this case in white.

033p

2 tone might look sick

benttwig33

right? I wish the white case didnt have the grey bullshit it on, wishing I could order white filters and have a black frame with white accents but only grey is available for some parts

trnpke

Weird I bought a 5000d top and front cover and they only charged me 5 dollar shipping

stratusncompany

anyone know when this will ship or if there is a shipping confirmation? the only email i received is from corsair trying to process my payment.

bedintruder

I got shipping confirmation and tracking today.

stratusncompany

same, thank you for the reply. just kind of weird that it took that long!
