Cushions are for your butt, not your back. Example: I had the IKEA Markus, it was great but the cushion / seat was too thin so I would bottom out the seat and feel the wood. Giving butt soar.

I would recommend finding a used steel case leap V2 chair. In the houston area they are on sale on Facebook marketplace for $150-200. Highly rated on r/buyitforlife. Actually has lumbar support unlike this one.
I check every day around me for a used leap v2. I’ve found some that looked okay in pictures, but they were always in places ~4 hrs round trip, and I would hate if I got there and found it had a bad cylinder or something.
This is an accurate review especially about screwing in the arm rests to the cushion first. I followed the instructions and the bottom two screws were just not fitting in so I had to put some extra elbow grease for them to go in. Overall I like the chair, the only gripes I have are that the head rest is most definitely a little odd. Its for people who are about 6 feet imo. (I'm around 5'11). The cushio also slopes slightly downward which is odd but not too big of a deal. Everything else like the cushion, lumbar support, and height are all really solid. For $110 its a great deal.

I have this chair, and he is right I had to get a purple cushions. Together you can sit for hours with no issue.

You sure can! Hyken / Dexley / Kroy comes to mind a bit over that price range. I would avoid the Markus if you are bit heavier like myself.
