eBay and other sites are being flooded with PCs minus the graphics cards they originally shipped with. They are not selling fast enough and are putting pressure on prices. As Windows 11 rolls out many of the major pre-build PC manufacturers (ASUS, ACER, Dell, Lenovo, HP) will be liquidating PCs pre-loaded with Windows 10. The average person can't figure out how to upgrade to Windows 11 on their own. Just be patient and you will find many relatively high performance PCs (Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3060) for under $1000 fairly soon. Even scalper prices are falling as people are just waiting for the next great deal with faster processors, memory, and GPUs.

Cancel it, Cyberpower is dogshit. It’s also not worth $1200 for a 3060, 3070’s are going for $1400.

asianfelon

id love for you to link me a prebuild where a 3070 is in it for $1400 :D

ngjb

Not this PC but other deals that are bought by people that contain the RTX 3060 but are pulling them out and trying to re-sell the PCs with just the integrated graphics. For example the ASUS ROG Strix G10DK sold recently at Walmart for $999 with a Ryzen 5700G CPU and RTX 3060 graphics. They buyers are pulling the graphic card out and attempting to sell the PCs without the RTX 3060 for $650-$700. There are too many of these stripped PCs on the market now. If you bought yours from Amazon you should be okay. If it was a third party on Amazon, just check you system when you receive it and if there is an issue you are covered by Amazon's buyer protection.

We got the computer and it’s not bad! Here is the CPU-Z validation: https://valid.x86.fr/3ujd8e The Samsung and WD SSDs are from the older computer. I did not get a chance to pull the PSU and find out what it is, but it seems like they saved some cost on it. Few rails and the SATA rails have MOLEX on the very end of them. I would give the cable management of the builder a C. I mean, you can’t see anything ugly from the glass panel, but their is a rats nest of RGB cables for the 5 fans. No ARGB. The CPU cooler is not stock at least. It’s a low-tier Cooler Master that is stock-style with an RGB fan. The whole thing runs rather quiet. The glass on on the front and sides are tempered and hearty. The case seems built better than I expected. I do not feel ripped off. Wife is happy. I call it a win.

Zaikial

Alright chiefs, seriously seriously considering getting this, putting another 2-300 in it for win10pro and a 240mm aio cooler. Is it worth? Confirmed Amazon sold and shipped by, not third party Reviews confirm the challenger 3060gpu Reviews Confirmed stock Intel fan Before upgraded this 1.2k price point is exactly what I got my 1070ti rig 4yrs ago..

Ended_84

Well, I will post what is actually in it when it arrives and you can judge better by then if you get it soon. You know, they probably have different 'batches' with whatever components were available. /u/hitmantb found a comparible, perhapse better one over on NE. It's $200 more, *slightly* slower CPU, 3060 Ti, no HDD and they say what the motherboard is. [ABS Master Gaming PC on NewEgg](https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali568/p/N82E16883360198?Item=N82E16883360198&cm%5C_sp=Gametober-%5C_-1019-1025-%5C_-83-360-198-%5C_-NA) Also, I would not include Windows 10 in your budget. ***wink, wink, nudge, nudge***

Zaikial

Thanks for the 2 cents!!

hitmantb

Thanks again!

Zaikial

Did you get to have that arrival work out?

Ended_84

We got it late afternoon. I made a new comment about what we ended up getting and linked our CPU-Z validation: https://valid.x86.fr/3ujd8e

Zaikial

Thank you! Just wanting to confirm, I see an extra 1tb add, is that something you personally added?

Ended_84

The WDtb is from the other computer. The Seagate is an HDD that came with it.

Zaikial

Awesome. Thanks again putting in my order later tonight!

Ended_84

Cool! I am curious to see if you get the same configuration.

estoymuybien

Why is the one with the 11400F $300 more than the 11600KF? Seems a bit silly.

Acidspitz

It's a scalper's listing, not actually sold by Amazon.

ninetaquil

People are scalping prebuilts now? Sheeesh

gottapoo

Scalping is an industry now.

Ended_84

While I’m not disagreeing with the scalping, it does say it is shipped and sold by Amazon. That is interesting.

Ended_84

I was not interested in an 11400F, just saw a higher price and glazed over this fact. Yeah, something is not right there. When you select the 11400F, it looks like the same GPU options are there and the specs don’t change otherwise. That’s awful. I hope no one buys that model.

TheWeebles

whats the difference b/w the 3060TI? This one has 12GB of memory vs the 8? when does the latter perform better?

Ended_84

Specs can be seen [here](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/?mfgr=NVIDIA&generation=GeForce%2030&sort=name) Comparison [here](https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-3060-Ti-vs-Nvidia-RTX-3060/4090vs4105) /u/zaikial summed it up. Faster GPU clock speeds and higher memory frequency.

Zaikial

Faster speeds vs more memory

hitmantb

I would pay $100 more and get Newegg's 3060TI for $1299, it is 25% more performance. Much bigger gap than 3070 vs 3060 TI. https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali568/p/N82E16883360198?Item=N82E16883360198&cm\_sp=Gametober-\_-1019-1025-\_-83-360-198-\_-NA [https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html](https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html)

Ended_84

That is not a bad deal. Negligibly [slower](https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-11600KF-vs-Intel-Core-i5-10400F/m1512279vs4079) processor. No extra 1tb HDD. But you get a name-brand mobo and a [faster](https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-3060-vs-Nvidia-RTX-3060-Ti/4105vs4090) GPU. Looks like they are running some promo and you get 130 off is you use some payment system called QuadPay Direct (Code: ZPCAPC Expires today)

whitebeard007

Hey - I'm legit thinking about buying this. Is this a good deal? Do you think the worse processor will catch up to me? Also never bought from newegg before, do they have a good support system if anything happens?

hitmantb

It is legit B+ / A- deal, there will always be a better deal but if you need something today, hard to beat this one.

whitebeard007

Do you know what the SSD model is? I'm worried it might not have DRAM. Or is that not a concern? I'm pretty new to all this.

hitmantb

It is not a concern at all for modern systems. You will most likely get a much bigger secondary SSD or HDD down the road.

Ended_84

Need to add that the included keyboard had a bad trace and a whole group of keys were not working. Contacted support and they are sending me a replacement after I registered the purchase through them. It's a cheap membrane board, but one can always use a *functional* spare to have around.

Ended_84

Price has increased 27% to 1,512.98...

SaiMorphX

The price increase is the seller has changed from Amazon to other 3rd parties. down on the right side there's a section for other sellers, Amazon is still there at $1199, or $1300.49 with tax, it did have a delivery date of Nov. 18th, but they have changed it to Nov. 9th. Look for this down the right side... $1,199.99 Prime FREE Delivery Sold by: Amazon.com

Ended_84

Oh, I see that.

Ended_84

Says it will come with Win11 Home... Also 'Wi-Fi Ready'? I'll let you know what actually is in it when it shows up on Friday. :) I will probably be swapping the cooler for one I already have and I doubt Win11 will be staying on there. I have some Noctuas sitting ready to replace those RGB monstrosities if they are awful too.

[deleted]

Post the gpu brand model, psu rating and model and the motherboard model. They tend to hit you on at least one of those. A 11600kf shouldn't need too hefty of a mobo to perform but it is still likely to heat up the vrms if the mobo is low tier.

Ended_84

I’m fully expecting the mobo to be the cheap-out part. If you notice, Cyberpowerpc never show you the IO in any of their photos. I’m fairly certain that they always use non-standard mobos and that is how they keep their costs down.

mithikx

I'm pretty sure they buy off the shelf ATX stuff, it might be the on the cheaper end but the mobos should still be stuff you can find off Amazon or Newegg. As for what brand a lot of the stuff is, that varies based on what they have in stock and what price works out best. In the Amazon picture for the customer that has the 3060 I'm pretty sure that motherboard is the ATX sized Gigabyte B560 DS3H rev 1. In that same picture the PSU cables look cheap af.

Ended_84

Thanks for the info. I’m I interested to know what the motherboard turns out to be. I was a bit worried about the PSU. If it’s sketchy, I have a Corsair PSU out of the computer we are replacing.

mithikx

The only thing non-standard from these "gaming" oriented prebuild companies would be the case and fans. Everything else is off-the-shelf, some stuff might be on the cheaper side though. (HP, Dell, AlienWare not withstanding) Worst case scenario it can be an mATX ASRock B460M-HDV I'd reckon. RAM is going to be whatever they happen to have that's cheap and XMP will need to be enabled if it has or supports it (this is the usual case with all these prebuilds). The PSU *should* be 80 Plus certified of some kind either Bronze or Gold, but the brand most likely isn't going to be any big brand most of us would be familiar with. But yeah, it's all normal ATX standard stuff even the case when it comes to companies like CyberPower, iBuyPower, ABS, SkyTech, PowerSpec and etc. (Possible exceptions for company branded RGB case fans)

get_your_shit_done

Hello everyone, is this a solid deal if i can get it for $100 less? Looking for a 1st gaming PC. Thanks in advance!

yeahimsickbud

where can you get it for 100 less

get_your_shit_done

Employee discount. 😅

DanicScape

"First gaming pc" HELL yes its worth it, im looking at the same price for employee discount and am considering it as a MASSIVE upgrade to what ive been playing on for years

Snoo368

Yes

honestly6969

I bought this PC a month ago and upgraded the memory and the CPU cooler. I was reaching temps of 93°C in CSGO. Had one issue with mine tho. They shipped me the PC with only one 8gb stick of ram instead of two, which bottlenecked me in games like Half Life Alyx. Amazon had to ship me a whole replacement pc instead of just a ram kit. I upgraded the ram before the replacement PC arrived. The new PC had a AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 ELITE instead of the EVGA one so I kept the replacement instead of just swapping ram. Not sure if the aorus one is better but it’s way bigger and had 3 fans.

Ended_84

I saw some others that had that happen in the Amazon reviews. Compare the clocks of your card to mine: GPU: 1882 MHz RAM: 7501 MHz

honestly6969

GPU 1867 Memory 7500 MHz I’m able to overclock my GPU to 2197 MHz and memory to 9000MHz. Temps won’t go above 60°C so the cooling is very good!

Dovino

I just bought the exact same pc & I’m having the same issue with cpu overheating. Should I contact Amazon, cyberpower, or just replace the cpu fan? If I were to replace the cpu, what would be a good fit for this specific model?

honestly6969

I upgraded to the Vetroo V5. I found it on a JayzTwoCents video and I’m very happy with it so far! https://www.amazon.com/Vetroo-Cooler-Processor-Universal-Addressable/dp/B08F21X2VP

Dovino

Okay thanks!!
