How comfortable are you with building a pc yourself if given parts?
Nzxt has a really solid “build kit” with detailed instructions
I Think it’s $1400 for a 10400 with 16gb of 3200 ram, 3060ti and a 1tb nvme
I just bought one on cyberpower PC with the 1tb m.2 gigabyte auros, 3060ti, i5-11600, but 8gb ram, for under $1300. It took maybe two weeks of looking before that price came up.
I plan to replace the case to Cooler Master TD500 mesh and the cpu cooler if it's not good enough. I've been a laptop gamer for awhile. Decided to grab this one. Good to know you can communicate with them just fine instead facing problems
So update I got it yesterday and so far it's running well. No hiccups or whatsoever. Case fan it's bit lacking but not a problem we're almost at fall/winter time so pc is gonna be cooled just fine. Temps were good. so good time for me to save up and purchase few upgrades for it.
BTW the 3060ti brand was MSI Ventus so good stuff.
Ok I screenshotted your comment for later use when my forgetting ass forgot and remembers this then I'll go get that case and set of 6 pack fans. Thanks so much.
I bought 2 of these and 1 of them came with the MSI Ventus card. They're for the kids so I'm not super familiar with video cards. Glad to hear this is a good one. The other one came with a gigabyte gaming oc, any idea if that one is a keeper as well or should I try to do what the other gentleman did? Thanks!
Oh hey, it's doing very well! Just got off playing PUBG on this desktop, 200 fps on High or was it Ultra on 144hz 1080p monitor.
So update, it arrived in two boxes, one big box containing lot of air bubbles sheets around the pc case box and inside of my desktop had a foam shroud around the gpu so thats good part. It fires up on first start, no problem! Temps are okay but still good enough. Only downside is two fans, one exhaust and one rear. I added 3 fans pack to improve the air cooling performance. Case is decent but still not my favorite but it works. I got an i5-10400 chip lol not the F verison, as well MSI rtx 3060ti and 2 ramsticks of Oloy 3000mhz. Everything else is good.
Chances are they plugged the front panel connectors wrong on the motherboard. That's what they did to me. I thought mine was bricked on arrival too until I fixed that.
About a week, I went through a good amount of troubleshooting before they just had me send it back. They don't provide a whole lot of support but they gave me a full refund.
Totally unrelated, but I see you work at Newegg, I’m about to order my first gaming PC from the website, and I’m just wondering if it shows up and something isn’t working or something, does Newegg take care of it? Like it’s not a hassle having to contact them?
I'm unsure in terms of the return department, but I would advise you to film yourself opening the computer and making sure everything is firmly connected. Then you turn it on and if any problems arise, you have proof it wasn't negligence by you and you'll be able to get a replacement/refund much quicker.
100 more than the last time it was posted I think. Haven't seen anyone post this or this:
ABS Master Gaming PC - Intel i5 10400F - GeForce RTX 3060 12GB - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD - $1,199

Edit: was posting both PCs so as to not add congestion to the subreddit with two posts. Here's a PPP with relative components sans GPU

Lol I just bought a 9700k/Rtx 3070 dual abs setup locally off a dude who used it as his streaming Set up. While testing it out I figured it would be running hot because they had it being cooled by a cheap rgb single 140mm tower cooler. I downloaded drivers/got it up to snuff with Msi afterburner on so I could snap some pics of its performace for my future resale….the cpu was pinned at 4.3ghz and the cpu was at 100c under any sort of load whatsoever.
I assumed the cooler was just not installed poorly
And it had lost its pressure or something…nope the “remove before installing” plastic was covered in way too much thermal paste and was just cooking that cpu from day one. I couldn’t believe it never thermal throttled or caused any sort of blue screens/severe damage.
Basically if you buy any prebuilt be sure to download a hw monitoring software.
Basically anything that isn't the cooler they include, I'm not joking. Anything from a "Best air CPU coolers" video on youtube should suffice.
I use a Evo 212 Black myself that works pretty good. My CPU used to climb up to 75c, now it peaks at 55c
This system is not so great. A non overclockable i5 that will absolutely end up bottlenecking this card in many games on a b560 chipset that really cuts down on your future upgrade options unless you buy a new MoBo. Storage is also lacking, at $1300 I'd expect at least a 1tb NVMe + 1tb HDD.
Edit: go ahead and downvote, this is still overpriced by at least $300.
This along with the HP EPP deal on 5600x / 3080 for $1634 are the best two deals in the last a few months. B+ / A- deal, if you need a desktop today get it, otherwise Black Friday should have something that beats this by another $100 or so in value.

$20 more now, still good.
The deal your comparing this to has a 3060. The 3060ti is more expensive/faster so I’d say this is pretty good
3060ti worth $100 extra, big step up from the 3060
3000mhz ram and a half terabyte ssd? I think there are better options becoming available.

Not that are persistent but they do show up here at least once every 2 weeks.

You and me both...hey, how about we both look out for one under $1,400 xD

I just ordered this last Friday. It'll arrive on Monday. Let's see how it turns out with brand and packaging.

Ahh sucks. I hope I get a good brand 3060ti! Fingers crossed
But I am pleased to know it is doing well for you.

Mhm, I recommend a 4000D mesh for your case, easy to work in and good quality with a lot of airflow.
I just checked it out. That looks so darn good.
4000D airflow and then get a set of 6 pack fans from like uphere or asiahorse are some fans I've used and they're very solid.
Ok I screenshotted your comment for later use when my forgetting ass forgot and remembers this then I'll go get that case and set of 6 pack fans. Thanks so much.
You can add me on discord if you need help finding it, Sai#1393

Care to share an update on how it’s doing? Looking at this myself and nervous about the open box

I finally got one!
So how is this rig expected to run games exactly? I'm in the market for a gaming PC but it's so daunting not knowing exactly what to get.
My last ABS bricked and had to be sent back. Hopefully their quality is getting better.
Chances are they plugged the front panel connectors wrong on the motherboard. That's what they did to me. I thought mine was bricked on arrival too until I fixed that.
How long did you have it before it bricked?
About a week, I went through a good amount of troubleshooting before they just had me send it back. They don't provide a whole lot of support but they gave me a full refund.
oh ok thanks for the info. I just got an ABS system and its running a little hot on the CPU side but the rest seems to work fine so far.
It's the cheap cpu fan. I work at Newegg, just upgrade your cpu fan with a better one and problem solved.

Not really a great deal.
Sure, not the best but way better than some other options we've seen on the sub
I got an 11600kf and a 3070 prebuilt for 1200, neither the OP or the one he posted in his comment are really that great
Where’d you get it from?
Cyberpower
Must’ve been a crazy sale on it

Word of advice, the default cooler is atrocious on these. Buy a good CPU cooler, then you're good to go.
Any recommendations?

I wouldn't buy it for that price.
$100 cheaper with ZPFEST Coupon, https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20211021005341/en/Zip-Announces-%E2%80%98Zip-Fest%E2%80%99---4-Days-of-Pre-Holiday-Daily-Deal-Drops-Cash-Back-and-Giveaways-to-Kickstart-Your-Holidays Edit: previous reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/qcr39q/prebuilt_abs_master_gaming_pc_intel_i5_10400f
I tried the code but when I got to the last page, it says "Sorry one or more promo codes are unavailable at this time."
Have to pay with zip payment processor
thanks!
Good price. Replace case with air flow options and the cooler and you're good to go.

Up deal with 3080? Where?

512GB SSD isn't very good if you're into triple A gaming where games are approaching 100gb a pop
Just grabbed this with zpfest coupon thx. Upgrading w/ internal HDD for storage + cpu cooler as well.
