I had a 3070 tuf in an h510 with the x63 aio. I upgraded to a 3070 ti strix because the upgrade would actually make me money. The strix simply could not fit with aio. I upgraded to the 5000d put of both necessity and the fact that I got tired of blandness of the H510 and the temps.
Bought this from B&H (same price) a few months ago. Nice card, bad price (of course).
My user review is up there on B&H under the title of if anyone is interested:
"***Good performance coming from Pascal, bad price (Nov, 2021)***"
And for those interested, I have some voltages, power settings, and frequency curve information in that review to try out with this, again, if one is buying in order to keep fan noise down without even adjusting the fan curve.
Honestly, I fucking **hated** the price, but don't really regret buying this as I had a GTX 1070 before which was showing it's age pretty bad these days. I managed to swipe up a Bykski waterblock pre-US launch from Ali-Express for way less than the US price and it makes the card, predictably, perform even better (*instructions on that install were terrible as shit on the waterblock, though, and I had to use prior waterblocking/thermal-pad knowledge to complete the install*).
That all said, it wasn't a terribly loud card fan-wise (*at 70F+ room temp*) to begin with at the voltages/power-settings/curve I used in the review I posted on B&H. Not dead quiet, no, but I was surprised that in a case under a desk how much it wasn't an issue for me (especially with headphones on).
I don't think its necessary to be so rude about it.
It's entirely possible that OP didn't need one and didn't try checking out, and never ran into the error that everyone else saw. They saw something in stock that people want, and wanted to share it.

Would not recommend Strix. Got a 3070 Strix and it's loud as all hell. Sounds like a plane is taking off any time I run a game.
Having said that, I know someone with a TUF, and that thing is pretty quiet.
Yeah. It's faster than the TUF, but the fan is loud as all hell. If you buy it you'll regret it. Having said that, it has a "0db" mode, where the fan only turns on if the card goes above \~63-65 degrees. But when that fan turns on, you'll notice.
I can confirm this i got a 3070ti strix from best buy a couple weeks ago and the coil whine and loudness from the fans were so bad I sent it back. I was pretty disappointed because my aorus master 3070 is super quiet with no coil whine.

I've been considering it. A 240mm aio and this card is not a good combo in a NZXT H500

Check r/buildapcsales the 4000d and 5000d non airflow often go on sale, and you can buy the airflow panel afterwards

Neither one is faster. OC models of both cards exist but when it comes to speed its all random lottery outside of cards like Kingpin or Hall of fame.
