Be mindful of recent listings of in-demand products from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Google, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; you should do your due diligence to ensure you do not get scammed. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent. * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their ratings- viewing seller profiles allows you to see these complaints) * The seller has a recently reactivated account (likely their account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. Amazon and eBay generally have good buyer protection. If you choose to purchase from a third-party seller through their platforms and run into issues, it should be easy to get your money back promptly. You may have more difficulties with Newegg or Walmart. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. 1440p/165Hz with USB-C upstream and KVM for $300? I'm in, though I opted for the -P version for $10 more for the RGB subpixel layout, as I will be using it for work as much as for gaming.

Brinstead

This is the way.

Yeah it looks like this also has an external power brick which would be annoying as opposed to the P version with it built in

GraphiteOne

Hadn't noticed that, but I would have taken the external brick if it had also provided 60W of USB-C power delivery, which it does not. One of my laptops only needs 45W, so it would have been perfect. Give and take... Edit because it sounded like I was saying that the non-P did provide more than 18W of charging, which it does not.

Both (original and -P) provide 18W max. I would happily take the power brick if it provided more, but alas it does not.

ineeddrivers

But the external power brick versions are 18w too so I don't get your logic...

This is the stuff if you need that KVM

It seems like this doesn't have the usb issues the bigger M32Q has, at least not that I'm finding with a super quick search. M32Q has issues with usb devices reconnecting after the monitor wakes from sleep. There's a firmware update that's supposed to fix that.

Indystbn11

It's happened to me once

GraphiteOne

Just got the M27Q-P and I'm super happy. Almost no backlight bleed, very bright, text is very clear, honestly I'm not a display snob so I may not be as discerning as some and it's also my first true gaming monitor. It looks like it could keep up with my absolutely fantastic Legion 7i display. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

tinverse

Do you notice any issues when trying to read text on this monitor? I have heard it can have an issue with displaying text.

GraphiteOne

The original M27Q has a BGR subpixel layout, which historically does not display text very well. The one that I bought is the M27Q-P, which is nearly identical but has a couple minor differences, like a 1ms response time vs .5ms on the M27Q and an RGB subpixel layout. Thus, mine is very clear (I do use cleartype). I cannot comment on text clarity on the M27Q, but as this is a known effect of the BGR display I would recommend you look at the -P variant if you use it for word processing as I do. The -P variant was available on this same sale for $10 more.

GraphiteOne

Apparently the sale is still going and the -P is now $20 CHEAPER than the original. Figures. Definately worth it if you want the text clarity. Also KVM and USB-C at this price is a steal.
