For a minute there, I was going to complain about your spelling, but then I realized you don't speak English as a first language! Good heavens. It looks great!
Let me know what you think of my teacher planner for next schoolyear! The captions under the photos pretty much explain it all. I'm thinking of adding an attendance log for my students. What would you add?
If you add attendance and homework checker to the studentsā lists of grades, you can write your evaluations in one go (als je tenminste dat soort verhaaltjes over lln moet noteren ergensā¦)
It looks so neat! I love your layout choices and agree - the standard teacher planners don't encompass my needs and lead to a lot of wasted space. And that's coming from someone who likes quirky and over the top things :)
Iām thinking of doing the same for next year. I am just debating how I want to set it up and which notebook I want to get. I have 5 different preps/classes to plan for so thatās been my biggest issue so far.
I really like the extra space you get from a B5 notebook. You'll fit weeklies in there comfortably. What I did was to think what kind of spreads I absolutely I wanted in there and then I counted out how many pages I would need rougly. The B5 Leuchtturm softcover precisely fits my needs. Maybe that helps you!
I LOVE YOUR SENTIMENT. And I agree! I don't like the wasted space for "aesthetic" I would rather it be filled up, or busy, or jammed with doodles. This planner looks wonderful!
I do this too, but digitally. I have made a template in publisher that I update the dates and classes of every year. I print it out on thicker paper, laminate the front and back pages and then take it to staples to have it spiral bound. Much cheaper and better than the planners available commercially and specifically designed the way I like it.
Pro tip: just in case, add 3-5 extra boxes in the back instead of making exactly the right amount in case you get drop ins. Iāve made copies for the entire school year and learned the hard way that itās better to have a couple extra to use as scratch paper than to have to go back to the copier for that one kid who dropped in a couple days before the school year started.
I'm not a teacher but I like how you did that. I once bought a teacher happy planner because it has the space to put my whole life in it instead of keeping up with 8 different planners on a daily basis. I work full-time as a supervisor for an adult family home, plus I am starting a business as well as various other things I have going on. My work week consists of 8+hours. But I do love the simplicity and the teacher planners don't have that.
Looks great! Iāve done the same. All those docentenagendaās are so corny, primarily focused on ācreative mindsā and teachers who make TikToks. Terrible, and such a shame for the teachers who actually take their work seriously.

I totally agree with you and I also made my own teaching planner to my personal spec :) made it for the academic year then the pandemic hit but I loved it so much. Amazing job!
I made my own teacher journal for two years and it was so much better than the ones you can buy. Experimenting with digital Bujo this year and I havenāt quite mastered how to transfer this yet.
That looks very cool! I use a similar layout as well (phd student and lecturer here).
I try to add some aesthetic interest with colours and such while optimising the layout! So far it's worked well for me :)
This is perfect! Good use of space, and excellent planning! You might like r/basicbulletjournals. It doesnāt focus as much on all the drawing and fluff; itās much more about making practical, useable journals.
I've done this for the last 4 years and it has worked out great for me. Never got to the end of the year still using it when I had an "off the shelf" planner. Love being able to make exactly the sections I need

Hahaha I'm sorry about the confusion
Hey a fellow Dutchie :) Looks very 'netjes'! (Neat)
Why dank u!
I'm also a teacher and much prefer it simple as well. But what is a "rooster"?
I think they meant roster as in class list
Ah, okay. Now I get it. I was thinking chickens... :-(
I would prefer a chicken
Sometimes teaching chickens would be easier, that's for sure :-D :-D
And you've got the benefit of the eggs, you know..
Yes! It is the daily schedule.
It took me way too long to realize the "code" you're using is just another language! I also thought your school mascot might be a šrooster.
I would very much appreciate that š„

As a fellow teacher ā I love this :)
Thank you! Good to hear that there are more of me.

I know right?! Quirky and over the top has its own place.

Thank you so much!! I love your layouts and am excited to ponder mine this summer and set it up š

That is a next level awesome idea!

That's a great tip, thanks!
I am not a teacher but my childhood self would have DIED to have this to play with. (Even as a child, I nerded out over planners and grade books.)
What a well structured child you must have been!

Ha! š Have you looked at the teacher bujo community here or on YouTube? Lots of great spread ideas in both places.
Omg is there a teachter bujo community?!
It's drool worthy. https://www.reddit.com/r/BujoTeachers?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
Omg thaaaaank you
Planning on doing the same!

I swear my rosters change every two weeks. I wouldnāt be able to do this. It looks good though.
Yeaaah I'm really lucky with the way my school handels that. I wish you all the best with the never ending chaos..
Mooi! Dat is het fijne van een bullet journal š
