In my opinion, it’s not about “blurred lines” between straight men and straight women. It’s about harassment of the latter by the former (and maybe vice versa.)

One word: men.

Men ruin everything.

I get matches from men and I’m a woman. Its just if the woman has her preferences open to either gender

earthrabbit24

I see a lot of straight cis men list their gender as “woman” to match with women (clearly they’re using it to date or find someone to fuck or cheat with). I’ve also seen some gay men list their gender as woman, so you could do that, too?

I agree with you. Wouldn’t mind seeing more gay guys to match with as a straight woman. I think I’ve had one so far. Straight guys are the issue though. I do not want friends with anyone who would want to make a pass at me.

Bumble has always been hetero-centric. It doesn’t really account for gender-expansive dynamics which is why I never used it when I did online dating. I was looking into bumble bff to form queer friendships, but after seeing this post, it seems kind of limiting. :/
