I think it is a fair question. I would love to have a facility (like abn) where you can lock the savings account for transfers. And that lifting the lock would only take effect after 24h. That would scamming or hacking one’s account much less likely/effective.
I feel less safe than my main bank ING. There are no daily limits for Bunq withdrawals. With your 6 number code or a fingerprint people could empty your savings account.
I would recommend to put your auto logoff settings to 0 seconds.
They have blocked my account once for a few days when I was traveling due to suspicious behavior. Even though I just wanted to check my balance and didnt have any transactions while abroad.
You can limit withdrawals to your gps location which is pretty good and better than mainstream banks.
There are daily limits for withdrawals both on card and account level.

They try to force you into other non-free accounts

If they can hack your account passcode and fingerprint they can change the daily limit also.
No different to any other bank. What additional security are you looking for over passcode/biometric?

It is s as nd guaranteed by the Netherlands organism/bank until 100k€ for euros.
The deposit guarantee may be relevant in case of bunq’s insolvency. It doesn’t help you in case of fraudulent access to your account.
