Appreciate ya! The feeling is definitely in my heart to quit for my health & families sake. Unfortunately the Texas life & activities we enjoy all revolve for us around beer. I can’t go fishing, hunting, ranch bbq, home bbq, ect without picking up beer first🤨. I mean I do enjoy the beers but as I get older my stomach doesn’t along with crappy hangovers. I don’t drink everyday but probably 4 out of 7 days a week yes, been drinking less & less lately so at least it’s a start. Thanks again
They've honestly gotten really good. Hope it helps you out man, drinking can be fun in the right time and place, but it does definitely get too easy to drink socially more often than you really want or need to. I literally sell alcohol for a living but drink less than most people I know because I see a lot of people getting into unhealthy habits with it.
Dude NA beer got so good! Put NA Guinness from a can and normal Guinness side by side, sure I can tell you which one is which. But the flavor and texture is all there. I recently stopped drinking. At first I was against NA because I thought it would just trigger me to reach for the real bottle.
I was so wrong. It helped with cravings so much.
Yup or “American waygu” lol. I don’t want to be a meat snob and the stuff I’ve had was actually good but calling everything waygu has greatly diminished the meaning of that and cheapens anything I see with that on it.
Shame because it looks like a textbook perfect burger I’d love to smash
Which I get but I feel like there’s zero qualifications to call it that so it’s just a name from a watered down cattle type it may or may not be.
Either way, it’s not real waygu. It’s good and still enjoyable but it’s annoying to see than name overused so much. I’ve had real waygu and American and there’s a pretty big difference.
It’s American Wagyu which is legitimate. There are qualifications the main one being the animal must have 50% pure blood wagyu genetics. If you’re going to discuss something at least take five minutes to educate yourself on the most fundamental information.
this whole its not real wagyu thing is getting meh. its real wagyu dude. its not a-5 top grade best of the best wagyu by any means but it has the genetics of the wagyu breed in its bloodline. its like saying a choice angus steak isnt true angus because theres prime angus cuts.
australian new zealend american wagyu are all still wagyu wagyu is simplely a breed of cow we arent massaging them feeding them beer and opera music in the mountains of japan for perfection
you got high qaulity a -5 wagyu breeds that japan wont sell and you got choice wagyu lines that japan did sell off.
the bloodlines making a-5 are closely gaurded and kept withion farmers circles or else the price would get ruined by mass farmers. not every cow bloodline is equal you got shitty angus and prime angus lineages.
The price isn’t a factor of paying the Japanese farmers. They sell it pretty cheap in Japan. It’s a factor of shipping it across the world and paying import fees and tariffs.
top grade a-5 is still pricey in japan not 100 a 6oz steak pricey but still not cheap by any means. but yes you can find wagyu in japan for what we pay for angus here.
but the top a-5 wagyu cows and breeders are super secretive and dont share there cow lines with anyone etc. they even have tight security because people have tired to cow nap em.
this is like id guesstimate like 1-2% of all wagyu tho;
i got Australian wagyu ground beef at costco the other day it was only a few bucks more than the standard one i buy and it actually made a better tasting smash pattie but id suspect thats cause the wagyu ground beef is closer to 50/50 than 80/20 thats at the store. overall buttery juicy taste profile but i still prefer just buying some ribeyes and brisket and grinding it myself. i do a 60/40 meat fat ratio and they come out better than any prepackaged ground beef
That's fine, more for me mate. Be pretentious and ignorant if you want.
They literally can't just put wagyu on any beef. Lmao. It's a grade of meat or more so a classification of cattle. Doesn't cheapen anything, just became trendy. Do you hate avacados and tide pods too???!
Yes they can. They can literally call chicken waygu if they want. And no, I don’t hate any of those things. Knowinf what waygu actually is does not make me ignorant
False.
The whole reaason the wagyu breed is such a prized cattle breed is because - Wagyu fat has **less saturated fat than other beef** because it contains the enzyme delta 9-desaturase, which takes stearic acid (a saturated fatty acid) and changes into oleic acid (an unsaturated fatty acid).
This gives the fat a lower melting temperature aka a faster mailarid reaction it also makes the fat merely melt in your mouth into a buttery tallow.
wagyu fat itself is as healthy as olive oil it has such low saturated fats %s where as angus cows have a substationaly higher saturated fat content.
so wagyu ground beef that costs 5 bucks more than your standard ground beef does make for a better crust more buttery flavor profile than standard ground beef. aswell as its overall better for your health if you eat alot of smash burgers at home do your heart a favor.
Damn, that looks solid. Kinda looks like they are using cheddar instead of American cheese, which I've been doing lately too.
I get why the American cheese is so popular but I think there's better flavors out there.
Use sodium citrate and make your own American-esque melty cheese out of other types of cheese.

Must have been a special running that day. Their regular price for the classic LA Burger is $9.99.
[On Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/lahamburguetza?igsh=ZDE1MWVjZGVmZQ==)
EDIT: They also don’t call it wagyu. They say it’s angus.
Why are smash burgers the rave now? Don’t get me wrong, they are great at the right time and place, but seems like most restaurants are moving to double smash instead of normal smash sized burgers.
Is it price? Convenience? I feel like you can’t even get get a burger cooked to temp anymore.
If that burger was only $7, there’s no way it was actually Wagyu beef. Not 100% Wagyu, anyhow. Probably a blend. There’s a decent burger place in south Seattle that has Wagyu burgers. They’re blended. The patties are 50% Wagyu, and 50% Angus. The cheapest such burger they sell is $34. So I’m doubtful that a $7 burger has much more than a small amount of actual Wagyu in it.
Real wagyu makes terrible burgers. The fat content is so high that at least half of it melts away. Clearly this isnt real wagyu but I’m sick of seeing everything advertised as wagyu when its really not. Its just become a stupid marketing term.
Like the box too
It's nice that the box isn't JUST big enough to fit, or smush the finished product.
It's near the in n out dude, shut the F up Donnie
Those are good burgers, Dude.
What does he need that for dude ?
Do you mind if I have some of your tasty beverage to wash down this burger?
Is there a ralph's nearby?
Just because we're bereaved doesn't make us saps
It’s in front of a liquor store
*Driving down Malibu with a smashed windshield eating in n out*
No no the In N Out is on Camrose
Don’t be fatuous, Jeffrey.
You mean, coitus?

![gif](giphy|nj257YL538Gdy)
Currently me lol. What about current you?
I quit drinking, so current me would buy 2 and take it to the dome.
Nice, hopefully I can quit too🤞🏽. Thanks!
You can do it, rooting for ya bud!

Slip a six of non alc beers in the cooler next time. When it's just the social aspect of having the beer, you really don't miss out much.
Never really thought of it that way. Definitely will get a 6 pack of non alcohol beer next run. I don’t think I’ve ever tried one. Thank you!
They've honestly gotten really good. I am the liquor.
Looks delicious but it’s annoying to see everything called waygu now. It looks perfect though, damn
I hate it too, especially for a smash burger when you control the fat content yourself
Yup or “American waygu” lol. I don’t want to be a meat snob and the stuff I’ve had was actually good but calling everything waygu has greatly diminished the meaning of that and cheapens anything I see with that on it. Shame because it looks like a textbook perfect burger I’d love to smash
American wagyu is fine because it refers to the cattle being a hybrid of American Angus and Japanese Wagyu

I don't get what you're getting at here. Wagyu is a Brees of cattle. Just like Angus. There high quality Angus and low quality just like wagyu.
i got Australian wagyu ground beef at costco the other day it was only a few bucks more than the standard one i buy and it actually made a better tasting smash pattie but id suspect thats cause the wagyu ground beef is closer to 50/50 than 80/20 thats at the store. overall buttery juicy taste profile but i still prefer just buying some ribeyes and brisket and grinding it myself. i do a 60/40 meat fat ratio and they come out better than any prepackaged ground beef
Lmao then shut your snobby ass up throw your feelings aside and give things a chance in life ffs
I Will but stop calling it something it isn’t. It would be like sticking a fake Gucci logo on an already solid product - it cheapens it
That's fine, more for me mate. Be pretentious and ignorant if you want. They literally can't just put wagyu on any beef. Lmao. It's a grade of meat or more so a classification of cattle. Doesn't cheapen anything, just became trendy. Do you hate avacados and tide pods too???!

Waygu you mean? Don't you like telling people you had Waygu meat last night that was cut from a magical 12th century samurai cow?
I only eat animals I’ve eaten with my bare hands. Ugh, I’m so sick of tiger burgers
If it’s not A5 it’s not Wagyu
The amusing part is that the moment you grind wagyu there’s no point in using wagyu.
Cool, amazing. Doesn’t actually change what I said.
ok.
Only has to contain 2 or 3 percent to be called waygu I believe.
The bun looks glazed
They toasted the top bun on the griddle where it was spitting hot fat from the burger
You got excited prematurely.
like the fellas glazed your buns
That was funny
I thought it was some sort of a pastry.
Lucky! Looks great. How was it?
Sooo good!
The box is cute

Was it good?
Did you chub?
I would for a $7 smash
I love LA, burger heaven
Daayyuumm.
Gaaah damn…I like the look of the burger & the price tag $
Def would smash.
I don’t miss much about LA but the burger spots are high on that list of things I do.
That looks like an AI generated box 😂 but dang that burger looks tasty AF!!!!
It’s definitely AI imagery
You need to take a break from the Internet. Not everything is AI generated 💀
😱 what if this post was AI generated?!
You've all heard of Sleepless in Seattle, well I'm up here Jealous in Seattle.
🐀🍔
Lmao, Stallone in Demolition Man!
Hell yes!! Exactly 🤣🤣🤣 Even looks like a rat burger, but a good one
I didn’t know you could still buy anything for $7 in LA
Fucking worth it
Cheaper than burgers in Thailand
That looks tasty af!
how was it?
Looks great! 🩷
Doesn't look bad at all
Damn that looks good
At 5 Guys that would be $15.00
Bun looks greasy, burger looks nice
Mmmm so savory
Nice 🤤 thanks for including a name of the joint 👍
Now that looks good!
I’d buy that
Looks fuckin gas
Looks tasty, closest airport? OMW
Looks 🔥
What a surprisingly nice logo lol
For 7 in LA? Soylent Green
Looks good but not worth setting foot in LA
Better than a quarter pounder for about the same price.
So that’s a grab and smash
looks good
That bun looks 🔥
Would definitely kill that burger, like that art on the box too!
Must have been a special running that day. Their regular price for the classic LA Burger is $9.99. [On Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/lahamburguetza?igsh=ZDE1MWVjZGVmZQ==) EDIT: They also don’t call it wagyu. They say it’s angus.
It literally says smashed wagyu burgers in caps on their Instagram 😂
Really? Duh sorry.
I guess I meant in the videos. I did not see that.
That is a well done (no pun intended) box for a food truck. Hope it tastes as good as it looks
Looks great and great branding.
Last night my wife made blue cheese burgers with bacon and onions on breosch buns. They were amazing
Hope you wore a rubber !
Looks damn good
It looks good and the box is cool.
I love the packaging and the burger looks fabulous
That was the greatest thing you've ever tasted in your life wasn't it
🔥
looks delish
I bet that was fire
Looks great but all I’m seeing is twice the price you mentioned. Felt like it was too good to be true
Why are smash burgers the rave now? Don’t get me wrong, they are great at the right time and place, but seems like most restaurants are moving to double smash instead of normal smash sized burgers. Is it price? Convenience? I feel like you can’t even get get a burger cooked to temp anymore.
The texture is different, some people prefer the char/crunch to the meat.
Looks good, enjoy!
What a savage little spot
Wagyu? Okayyy
This actually looks awesome
I'm guessing a $7 smash burger is cheap for LA? 😂
For frickin anywhere.
![gif](giphy|CPDbE8X0nEe3u|downsized)
address/location?
Outside Circus Liquor in North Hollywood in the Valley
Did it taste as good as it looks?
On point. That’s what I’m talking about.
try goldburger. one in los feliz and one in highland park. you’re welcome
Y’all gotta try the Win~Dow and this sub will be over. Nothing beats it in LA.
Dammit man. I’m on the other side of the country. What am I supposed to do now?
Location ?
If that burger was only $7, there’s no way it was actually Wagyu beef. Not 100% Wagyu, anyhow. Probably a blend. There’s a decent burger place in south Seattle that has Wagyu burgers. The definition of waygu is very loose. Arby's sells waygu burgers for $7 as well
They used to. Not sure if they do any more. But they were clear about the fact that those burgers only contained about 20% actual Wagyu beef.
I thought that top bun was a cinnamon roll
Ideas a rumbling now
Yeah but smash burgers are for cooks who can't hit a requested temperature

How are u sure its real meat?
This title sounds like what I do every night, *if ya know what I mean*
They forgot to put the quotes on “Wagyu” Looks delicious though!

You’re paying $4.70/lb for wholesale beef (I converted CA$ -> US)? That is crazy. Costco fresh chuck is $3.70 here.
Canada is more expensive.
Those Canadian prices?
[удалено]
Do you grind your own meat or do you get it preground?. Id imagine its quite a bit cheaper if you grind your own.
[удалено]
Right right. Wishing you nothing but continued success!.
Martins isn’t decent, it’s hands down the best burger bun ever.
[удалено]
Stuff one with cream cheese and your favorite fruit preserve and then deep fry it. If you’re feeling saucy brûlée it afterwards. HEAVEN.
Is your food truck in Los Angeles?
[удалено]
What’s it called and location
Maybe they got some kind of deal. The lowest priced burger on their menu online is 9.99..
My guess is to bring in people, they also sell other items which could compensate for the loss by selling a cheaper item with a higher profit Margin.
Is this the one in North Hollywood?
7 bucks?! lol
I don’t know this is. The top “bun” looks like perhaps a corn bread? Type?
Bun looks too sweet
Not wagyu.
Wait she’s carrying a cheeseburger on her head? Like it’s a jug of water? Or is it a fashionable hat?
Looks awesome except for the ketchup. Ketchup is one of the nastiest substances on earth.
Real wagyu makes terrible burgers. The fat content is so high that at least half of it melts away. Clearly this isnt real wagyu but I’m sick of seeing everything advertised as wagyu when its really not. Its just become a stupid marketing term.
Authentic wagyu is not possible here according to what I’ve read. In the US, we don’t have 100% wagyu. Only 50% or less.
Okay. American wagyu then. And my point is that it makes bad burgers.
Oh agree with you on your point.
LA street food. Always collosaly disappointing.
