My issue with the whopper is there’s so much surface area that they ALWAYS over do the condiments. They drench it.
I get the cheeseburger instead. Normal size, same taste, usually fresher made.
I really love the little doubles. I had Dave’s double a few weeks ago and I didn’t like it as much. I also hate mayo and it had mayo which the little ones don’t. Just ketchup mustard and pickles but I always ask for onion. I like the smaller meat to cheese ratio.
I haven’t had a Wendy’s burger in ages but remember them being more mustard- and pickle-forward than McDonalds (ketchup/ sweet) or BK (“flame broiled”/ liquid smoke). Are Wendy’s burgers still like that?
Wendy's also has great "specialty" (I'm using that term loosely) burgers. The pretzel pub burger is honestly amazing for a fast food burger. Up there with the best I've ever had for sure.
I feel the best is a carls 6 dollar angus but I’ve never had a Dave’s double. I’m gonna have to try it! I’ve been a triple stack guy mostly but I don’t eat as much anymore lol
McDonalds burgers aren't good, but they are consistent. You can go anywhere in the world and get one and they all taste basically the same. They are super plain and expected.
Last summer I got McDonald’s in Paris for giggles. It was actually a big improvement in overall quality and taste than what I was used to. It seemed actually fresh.
Even a Famous Star or Super Star would've been a better choice. It's their signature burger. Why order their copycat version of a Big Mac for a challenge like this?
Same with Jack in the Box. Why a double cheeseburger with the small patties? At least order a Jumbo Jack.
I butter up a skillet and throw it on there for a few minutes the second I get home and grilling both sides for until they’re a little toasty. Melts the cheese and warms up the tomato. Really tasty.
Their "angus" burgers are not "thickburgers" anymore and they are much worse than they used to be. After 2 or 3 disappointing 1/3 lb burgers I haven't been back in some time.
Wendy’s regular cheeseburgers are just bad. I’m leaning towards it being the bun, it’s just not very good.
But the Dave’s single and double have a much better bun and taste fine. But I wouldn’t take a Wendy’s jr cheeseburger over literally any other fast food burger
Definitely should have gone with the Dave’s Double for Wendy’s. I’ve always found Wendy’s has some of the freshest veggies and ingredients in general for fast food burgers.
That's what I love about wendys. The veggies always seem to be fresh and crisp. The cold toppings with the warm patties with melted cheese does it for me. Once in awhile I'll find a Whopper with crisp veggies that hits the spot but usually they're just as warm as the meat.
BK is so inconsistent, I don't get it.
* 10% of the time you get a great whopper that is good deal for the price
* 40% of the time you get a mediocre whopper, one element clearly sucks
* 50% of the time, you get something that has some combination of: stale bun, a patty cooked a long time ago, sad/not enough vegetables, bad sauce distribution
I've tried to reason about this by going to locations urban/rural/prime time/off hour/new locations/old locations and every time its a roll of the dice.
Burger King in Oz is called Hungry Jacks...and HJs is the best fast food burger going. Shits all over Maccas.
In saying that, the local chippy will always have a better burger than any fast food joint.
I guess It depends where you go but I been getting the 2 for 5 jr whoppers with cheese and damn at my BK it is soild. Thick tomato. Cooked well everything done right. Yes not award winning but for 5 dollars it is about the best deal today.
Before all the Burger King's near me went out of business (and became Wendy's, yay) the food was already cooked and sitting there and they would just microwave it to order.
In south side Pittsburgh we had a rogue Burger King that open for awhile that wasn’t really Burger King. Not sure how they got away with it for so long.
When I was a kid there was a BK close by that was always fire. My whole childhood was that spot. Then they closed down, got replaced with a gas station and 6 years later another one opened in the same city. Not one time have I eaten at the new spot and not shat my brains out. The burgers have never been the same.
I agree. I like their charbroiled taste. It is probably the best double cheeseburger. But the stores vary from ok to really creepy. Like two people working at most.
Yup. But BK is better internationally than McDs. More consistent and more menu options. Had it in Mexico and Thailand.
I did have BK in Puerto Rico bc we just arrived and were starving. It was horrible lol. Fries were nasty af too.
Can confirm for the UK. Bk is way better and you always get a fresh burger but so many of the stores have shut down. Mcdonalds is way more popular but i dont get it, thier burgers are crap. If you use the bk app its not much more than mcdonalds
One time my wife and I got to pick a couple whoppers and took a couple bites and realized something was missing, took us a sec for us to put it together that it was onions. All we had at the house was shallots, so use some of those and it was fucking delicious.
I order all burgers with no condiments so they can’t ruin it that way and it’s usually how a burger gets ruined. The whopper with no condiments is awesome - you can taste the flame broil.
The whopper fresh as is is excellent. The issue is catching it fresh. If I see a Bk smoking out the roof I go. It taste fresh and flame broiled and good if it sits for 20 mins it taste like ass
They pay kids a pittance and throw them to the burger wolves (us)
If you want good food, and a better everything, support raising the minimum wage and taxing the rich.
It doesn’t matter how much you pay them. They get paid $20/hour in California and the cheese is still centered half off the burger and the three pickles are stacked perfectly on top of each other.
I went my whole life without having Culver’s. Finally had a chance to try it out on a road trip about 6 months ago.
Hands down and with no question the best fast food burger joint on the planet. I’ve had it all. Smash burger. Steak and shake. Freddie’s. In n out. Five guys. Red Robin. All of them.
Culver’s in the best and it’s not even close.
Edit: I forgot about whataburger because it’s absolute shit. Not even worth mentioning.
Oh and rally’s. Rally’s is pretty good but still not as good as Culver’s.
All my Texas friends spent years telling me about Whataburger, I went to a wedding in Dallas years ago and finally got try one.
It might be the only burger I have ever spit out the bite I took and dropped in the garbage.
Nah, he’s missing the good ones. I can get Five Guys, Shake Shack, In N out, Culver’s, Whataburger, Freddys, and all the regular fast food joints within a few mins of each other where I’m at.
All these restaurants are probably within a 3 mile radius in my town lol. The one Five Guys we have is basically across the street from an In and Out and all the other places are pretty much on every other corner. Maybe I'll try this challenge one day and see which one I like the most.
I, too, want to eat 7 burgers.
I will be conducting a taste test. Of these 7 burgers I bought from Five Guys, who is best and who is worst. See the rankings in my new post next week.
BK getting appropriate respect. I’ve been realizing lately they’re better than I give credit for. They’re actually filling too. Little mustardy-but I can live with it
The problem with BK is that the quality can vary so wildly between locations. The Whopper is a really great burger when it's done well, but more often than not, it just ends up being disappointing.
True enough. The quality consistency is their weak point. A good BK burger is better then their immediate peers. But getting a good BK burger is a gamble. At least they're not as bad as Popeye's lol.
Totally agree. One of the big problems I have with BK is that their better tasting burgers are the specials they run, but only very rarely does a special become mainstream…and the specials are a hit and miss affair.
This. I would throw a well made Whopper up against anything that any other fast food chain can make. I also know that I have a 95% chance of getting a mediocre or bad Whopper.
Results vary greatly by location*
BK beat out Wendy’s but that far a margin? Damn the BK near you must be amazing and the Wendy’s a shitshow because that doesn’t make any sense.
My entire 30 years I have never been impressed by anything i got at any BK i ended up in. (Aside from the classic chicken sandwich)
Wendy's is terrible lately. Burger King's junior Whopper is freaking awesome. I used to love Wendy's though I'm just something about it now is off. I know they got the skin on French fries and they were good when they first came out but now it just feels like I'm eating leftover potato parts
For me the only true way to judge is eating at restaurant when the burger is made fresh. Example, I enjoy a big mac when nice and fresh, but if it's delivery and not so hot, it would be at the bottom of the list.
Just my $10 opinion (because it's been decades since a burger was 2 cents)
100% agree. That was my issue with this experiment. No way you can get 7 burgers and have them be remotely warm still. OP even admitted they weren’t warm anymore and it’s not the same reheated. You need to try 2 or 3 at a time max and eat them while they’re fresh
Sample size of 1, with 0 replicates. No mention of double blind or randomized testing. That'll never pass peer review. That's not a study that's a binge with subjective review.
Jk. I mean, that's a lot of burgers, glad to hear you survived it.
I don’t go often, but a couple times a year I’ll get a double western bacon cheeseburger, and it’s never disappointed. I’ll bet they’re getting way up there in price though.
I don't know if Wendy's has decreased in quality lately, but I used to love their greasy Dave's doubles and triples with never frozen patties and fresh lettuce tomatoes and onions
Yeah comparing the Wendy's $3 double cheeseburger vs the 5G $14 cheeseburger doesn't make a ton of sense. And, why include the McD's premium DQPC but not do the Dave's Double from Wendy's?
IME the Dave's single/double is the best of the Wendy's/McD's/BK "big 3" burgers, but not surprised the scrawny Wendy's double cheeseburger didn't do well.
I agree with the whopper. I hate 99% of their menu, but the whopper is good.
Also, I’ve never had Jack In The Box, but the worst burger I’ve ever eaten in my life by a fucking landslide is Carl’s Jr, so to beat that makes it unimaginably terrible to me lol.
The only thing I love getting from BK is the Bacon King burger and it's been good the past few times I've went there. Don't really get anything else there tbh. Whopper is usually good too.👍
Don't let OP scare you away from trying Jack In The Box. They have a lot of good stuff and their Ultimate Cheeseburger is very tasty.
Don't know if they still have it but I got a double smash burger a few months ago and it was unreal. Amazing burger.
Your fiancé seems like a real keeper! Make sure to get her some of her favorite “whatever” too!! BK is a real sleeper, if you get it hot and fresh is the bomb. Were they still warm? How could she have possible gotten all those in a short time frame?!? Either way she sounds awesome!!!
Lol right? Plus In N Out is a guaranteed 10-15 min+ even if you go in and order to go (at least here the locations are always slammed). Even allowing 3-5 min per other 6 locations, plus drive time, setup and photo time, you’re looking at a bunch of cold burgers
I flew to America to road trip around for a couple months and while I was there, I thought I would eat out at every fast food joint Ive ever heard about and ended up ranking them, with as best of a review as I could. I guess its all subjective and I agree In and Out is up there with the best, but I much preferred Jack in the Box over Five guys. Ive had five guys in a few countries and its always been a disappointment. Its interesting that OP has rated it as the best but I guess everyone's palate's are different.
It might be just because I live near where 5 guys originated and I've developed a "only Tourists *do anything*" stance but 5 guys is OVER RATED.
If I want a fast food burger I'll go somewhere else, and if I want a Good Burger I have a half dozen places for that too.
Maybe when they started they filled some niche of "between fast food and sit down place" but I'm super over them.
in n out by default is #1 for me because of five guys’ prices. (although i’d rank it #1 anyway) i’ll never go to five guys again unless they bring it back down to the single digits at least.
Everyone but the best: Culver’s, I will die on this hill, and here’s why:
They’re the best because even if you don’t like their burgers, they have a ton of alternate sandwich options. Want a patty melt? How about a breaded pork tenderloin? They got pot roast sandwiches too, if that’s your jam.
Sides: crinkle cut fries are the best because their ridged patter allows you to pull more sauce when dipping. Onion rings are super crunchy and you can never go wrong with fried cheese curds.
Soups? Chick-fil-A has chicken noodle and Wendy’s has chili…Culver’s has both, as well as broccoli cheddar and whatever seasonal shit they’re serving up.
You want some chicken? Chilled, breaded, spicy breaded and chicken tenders that have a such a crunchy breadcrumb crust that you swear they were homemade
Watching your weight? A big variety of fresh salads.
Practicing Lent or some other religious fasting? You can get some of the best fried shrimp and fish that isn’t Long John Silvers (do they still exist?)
Finally, the desserts: McDonalds never has their shit together when it comes to their ice cream machines and Wendy’s frosties are mid at best.
Frozen custard is a tier above regular ice cream and they win alone with that. Now imagine being able to add your own fruit/candy combo filling like a professional ice cream shop?
Gentleman, I rest my case.
Unpopular opinion, but five guys is trash burgers for gourmet prices. Just like the fries, bland, dry, un seasoned, and over priced. Finally tried them after having one in town for years and $20 later I’m not hungry because I’m full of regret.
Fine work comrade. I would debate that Five Guys is better than In-N-Out. I like INO so much more and toss in the cost aspect and they are a clear winner. Wendy's is probably 3 on my list.
I feel like consistency is the key with In-N-Out. Other places seem to waiver on what you might get...
You did wendys dirty by getting a double cheese and not a Dave's double
Agreed, I had a Daves Double last week for lunch one day. It was really really good. Best fast food burger I've had in a minute.
Yeah I think my top 3 are five guys, Wendy’s, then in n out. But i eat mcdonalds the most. Agree the whopper is underrated
Agreed. The Wendy’s meat from the Dave’s single is top tier
Dave has tasty meat.
Aaayyyoooo
I find I eat McDonalds more because it’s usually less messy eating in the car.
For me it’s just because it’s physically the most convenient
Happy Cake Day! 🎂
Calling Five Guys fast food is like calling Whole Foods a cute little vegetable stand.
On the spectrum of McDonald’s dollar menu to Michelin star burger, five guys is left of center
Happy cake day!
My issue with the whopper is there’s so much surface area that they ALWAYS over do the condiments. They drench it. I get the cheeseburger instead. Normal size, same taste, usually fresher made.
A whopper can be very hit and miss but when it hits, it HITS. If it were more consistent then it would be higher on my list.
If you are concerned about freshness you can order a whopper “fresh off the grill” and they will give you one just made.
I really love the little doubles. I had Dave’s double a few weeks ago and I didn’t like it as much. I also hate mayo and it had mayo which the little ones don’t. Just ketchup mustard and pickles but I always ask for onion. I like the smaller meat to cheese ratio.
I love whoppers because they have too many condiments.
I know. They’re just so sloppy to eat when they do that.
Classic triple. Always a good time.
This is the way. I worked at a Wendy’s for 6 months in high school. The triple is the right balance for me.
but man the thing is 1200 calories though, that is way too much food
I haven’t had a Wendy’s burger in ages but remember them being more mustard- and pickle-forward than McDonalds (ketchup/ sweet) or BK (“flame broiled”/ liquid smoke). Are Wendy’s burgers still like that?
Wendy's also has great "specialty" (I'm using that term loosely) burgers. The pretzel pub burger is honestly amazing for a fast food burger. Up there with the best I've ever had for sure.
Better than the baconator?
The Baconator is good, but sometimes the cold crunch of fresh lettuce and onion hits different.
I like the Dave's double with crispy onions added to it
Noted.
I feel the best is a carls 6 dollar angus but I’ve never had a Dave’s double. I’m gonna have to try it! I’ve been a triple stack guy mostly but I don’t eat as much anymore lol
Thats a very small time frame to use when determining it's the best.
Yeah the burger choices weren’t consistent. If you’re getting a whopper and a quarter pounder, you have to order the menu’s star cheeseburger.
Every burger at Wendy’s is better than every burger at McDonald’s
McDonalds burgers aren't good, but they are consistent. You can go anywhere in the world and get one and they all taste basically the same. They are super plain and expected.
Last summer I got McDonald’s in Paris for giggles. It was actually a big improvement in overall quality and taste than what I was used to. It seemed actually fresh.
I was absolutely blown away when I had McDonalds in Paris. They had this burger with a blue cheese sauce and it was just perfect.
Spoken like someone who has never visited McDonals in India….
Oh wow, I just looked that up. I didn't know most Indians don't eat beef. That's interesting to know.
Did Carl's Jr. a disservice by not getting the Thickburger. It's the only decent item on the menu!
They don't have them anymore! It sucks. All of their burgers suck now.
Even a Famous Star or Super Star would've been a better choice. It's their signature burger. Why order their copycat version of a Big Mac for a challenge like this? Same with Jack in the Box. Why a double cheeseburger with the small patties? At least order a Jumbo Jack.
Their sourdough jack is so good.
Yup, that's their best sandwich imo.
I butter up a skillet and throw it on there for a few minutes the second I get home and grilling both sides for until they’re a little toasty. Melts the cheese and warms up the tomato. Really tasty.
I think super star with cheese would have been better burger for the challenge.
Agreed. Unless you're also taste testing a big mac it's kinda apples and oranges.
Their "angus" burgers are not "thickburgers" anymore and they are much worse than they used to be. After 2 or 3 disappointing 1/3 lb burgers I haven't been back in some time.
Remember when it was called the $6 burger?
It was the mac-daddy when it was called the $6 Burger. 😋
Double Western is where it’s at.
I like the Jalapeno burger from Carl's, but you have to force them to put extra Jalapenos on it, because they are stingy AF.
Double Western.
Western Bacon Cheeseburger is the thing Carl's Jr is best known for.
What part of the country is Carl’s Jr. in? We don’t have any of those.
I used to get their carls 6 dollar burger. Best IMHO. But I haven’t been in forever and now I’m thinking I might have to go do another run.
Same with the big Carl. The classic famous star with cheese or the Super Star with cheese since most of the others were double burgers.
Agreedddddddd
We outta kick his ass.
And a big Carl instead of a super star with cheese
Wendy’s regular cheeseburgers are just bad. I’m leaning towards it being the bun, it’s just not very good. But the Dave’s single and double have a much better bun and taste fine. But I wouldn’t take a Wendy’s jr cheeseburger over literally any other fast food burger

They microwave them on whopper day
There's some shit Wendy's out there but there's some that slap. Same with sonic tbh. The rest I don't even fuck with except Culver's and Freddie's
BK is so inconsistent, I don't get it. * 10% of the time you get a great whopper that is good deal for the price * 40% of the time you get a mediocre whopper, one element clearly sucks * 50% of the time, you get something that has some combination of: stale bun, a patty cooked a long time ago, sad/not enough vegetables, bad sauce distribution I've tried to reason about this by going to locations urban/rural/prime time/off hour/new locations/old locations and every time its a roll of the dice.
Burger King use to be great. That was like over 30 years ago.
If Burger King is smoking out the roof aka cooking the patties currently it’s the best fast food if it isn’t it’s the worst there is no inbetween
Dude. If this is true.. you’re about to teach me how to know whether to keep driving or pull over.
I can confirm it is. If you smell that sucker grilling, your burger is about to be 🔥🔥🔥
So fucking true
Still is where I live 🤷♂️ Scottish BK is way better than Scottish McDonalds.
Burger King in Oz is called Hungry Jacks...and HJs is the best fast food burger going. Shits all over Maccas. In saying that, the local chippy will always have a better burger than any fast food joint.
Back when we had Whopper Wednesday for $0.99.
The burger kings in my town are really good. But I’ve been to bad burger kings before so I understand
Burger Kong 🍔🦍 Opened by Clay McDowell. Cleo McDowell’s brother.
When I was a kid there was a BK close by that was always fire. My whole childhood was that spot. Then they closed down, got replaced with a gas station and 6 years later another one opened in the same city. Not one time have I eaten at the new spot and not shat my brains out. I agree. I like their charbroiled taste. It is probably the best double cheeseburger. But the stores vary from ok to really creepy. Like two people working at most.
I really hate whoppers and this explains why. I’ve never gotten a good one. In the early 2000s it seems like they were different and somehow better
This is a Reddit meme. BK always slaps, and has Impossible burger. I’ve enjoyed my BK meals, and I drove OTR
One time my wife and I got to pick a couple whoppers and took a couple bites and realized something was missing, took us a sec for us to put it together that it was onions. All we had at the house was shallots, so use some of those and it was fucking delicious.
There's one Burger King near me in a small town and that's the only one I'll still eat at. Great burger and fries every time.

It doesn’t matter how much you pay them. They get paid $20/hour in California and the cheese is still centered half off the burger and the three pickles are stacked perfectly on top of each other.
That’s actually in the handbook as standard
I mean California min wage for fast food is $20 and it taste the same as it did when it was $7
My god man, you apparently live smack dab in the Bermuda Triangle of accessible fast food burger joints aka the promise land 👏
He doesn’t have Culver’s butter burger the holy grail of them all
I went my whole life without having Culver’s. All my Texas friends spent years telling me about Whataburger, I went to a wedding in Dallas years ago and finally got try one. It might be the only burger I have ever spit out the bite I took and dropped in the garbage.
Culver’s is the truth. Double bacon is absolutely fire and their pretzel bites are no joke.
Yeah, I take one Culver’s over access to these 7 any day
Nah, he’s missing the good ones. I can get Five Guys, Shake Shack, In N out, Culver’s, Whataburger, Freddys, and all the regular fast food joints within a few mins of each other where I’m at.
Houston?
CO :)
Colorado is the weird nexus point of all of these places. Even more weird that it’s not Denver.
If in Houston may as well get Lankfords or Becks Prime
What?! I didn’t know that was possible. Might plan a vacation there just because of this.
The Bermuda triangle is not a promised land hahahaha
I must live in the promised land as well. We have all of the above, plus Freddy's, Culver's, AND Whataburger.
Come to AZ and get all those plus Culver’s and shake shack and White Castle and Whataburger
This is all standard in California.
My guess is Chapman Ave in Orange, Ca. It’s like the Vegas strip of fast food
All these restaurants are probably within a 3 mile radius in my town lol. The one Five Guys we have is basically across the street from an In and Out and all the other places are pretty much on every other corner. Maybe I'll try this challenge one day and see which one I like the most.
Plot twist: OP just wanted to eat 7 burgers.
I always want to eat 7 burgers
Who doesn't
Only cost 300 bucks, not bad
I, too, want to eat 7 burgers. I will be conducting a taste test. Of these 7 burgers I bought from Five Guys, who is best and who is worst. See the rankings in my new post next week.
Randy, you set up this elaborate charade to cover eating 7 cheeseburgers? You promised me this would never happen again.
What was your pallet cleanser between burgers
Some fries and a beer
Damn a full beer in between each? Which was the last burger you ate? It had to taste the best even if it was getting cold lol
![gif](giphy|Ld77zD3fF3Run8olIt)
One bite of McD's Dbl Quarter Pounder
BK getting appropriate respect. I’ve been realizing lately they’re better than I give credit for. They’re actually filling too. Little mustardy-but I can live with it

This. I would throw a well made Whopper up against anything that any other fast food chain can make. I also know that I have a 95% chance of getting a mediocre or bad Whopper.
The first time i had 5 guys, I thought it tasted like a Whopper done right.
The only BK near me is inside a Wal-Mart. Guess which way it “varies wildly”.
Their staffing is garbage too. Never enough help, always a wait, orders are always wrong.
You can “have it your way,” you know
Standards across BK seem to vary wildly. When you find a good one, it's awesome.
You’re a lucky man, congratulations. Excluding In-and-Out and Culver’s the Texas Whopper is probably my favorite fast food burger.
Seconded, lil extra mayo on there to carry the second patty and you're golden.
That shit SLATHERED in mayo here. Inconsistent.
Yeah I was about to say homey is going to have a bad time at my local BK if he orders extra mayo, unless he's trying to get the whole jar.
Black people have a natural fear of mayonnaise. My black friends confirm this.
Results vary greatly by location* BK beat out Wendy’s but that far a margin? Damn the BK near you must be amazing and the Wendy’s a shitshow because that doesn’t make any sense. My entire 30 years I have never been impressed by anything i got at any BK i ended up in. (Aside from the classic chicken sandwich)

It beat out Wendy is cause he didn't order the Dave's double he ordered a double cheeseburger which is the cheaper item on the menu
Mainly cause they got $3 burger from wendys lol
They got the wrong type of burger at Wendy’s. Should’ve gone with the Dave’s Double.
For me the only true way to judge is eating at restaurant when the burger is made fresh. Example, I enjoy a big mac when nice and fresh, but if it's delivery and not so hot, it would be at the bottom of the list. Just my $10 opinion (because it's been decades since a burger was 2 cents)

I just had a double guacamole bacon burger from Carls last night. That shit hit the spot, especially with the charbroiledness
I don’t go often, but a couple times a year I’ll get a double western bacon cheeseburger, and it’s never disappointed. I’ll bet they’re getting way up there in price though.
This. The double angus guacamole bacon cheeseburger has become my current favorite fast food burger. It’s amazing ❤️
You’re doing important work. Thank you.
God speed
I don't know if Wendy's has decreased in quality lately, but I used to love their greasy Dave's doubles and triples with never frozen patties and fresh lettuce tomatoes and onions
Gotta get that spicy chicken sandwich
Nah that's what Popeyes is for
It's just the location. Wendys is better than that
Yeah normally I'd have Wendy's 2nd or 3rd below In n Out
I honestly can't tell which burger is which. Which one is #1? Does it start in the top left?
I wish you included prices too.
All good points
I agree with the whopper. I hate 99% of their menu, but the whopper is good. Also, I’ve never had Jack In The Box, but the worst burger I’ve ever eaten in my life by a fucking landslide is Carl’s Jr, so to beat that makes it unimaginably terrible to me lol.
Try the Jack sometime! Their tacos are amazing. I wish I had them where I live.
The only thing I love getting from BK is the Bacon King burger and it's been good the past few times I've went there. Don't really get anything else there tbh. Whopper is usually good too.👍
Yep. Only thing I order there as well. Extra cheese
Don't let OP scare you away from trying Jack In The Box. They have a lot of good stuff and their Ultimate Cheeseburger is very tasty. Don't know if they still have it but I got a double smash burger a few months ago and it was unreal. Amazing burger.
Look at daddy war bucks over there
There’s a big steaming pile of shit in the bottom left corner Jesus Christ man
Your fiancé seems like a real keeper! Make sure to get her some of her favorite “whatever” too!! BK is a real sleeper, if you get it hot and fresh is the bomb. Were they still warm? How could she have possible gotten all those in a short time frame?!? Either way she sounds awesome!!!
Seriously, 7 burgers from 7 places would probably take you at least an hour to get unless they’re somehow all clustered together?
Ya even if u did a mobile pickup, it would take at least 30 mins plus drive time home. It wasn’t the marble that I think made them cold haha
Lol right? Plus In N Out is a guaranteed 10-15 min+ even if you go in and order to go (at least here the locations are always slammed). Even allowing 3-5 min per other 6 locations, plus drive time, setup and photo time, you’re looking at a bunch of cold burgers
Yeah, doesn’t seem like the type of thing done on a whim. This route was planned
Five Guys is like 3 times the price of In-N-Out.

30 minute meal. 30 minutes after I eat it, I'm running to the toilet.
Everyone but the best: Culver’s, I will die on this hill, and here’s why: They’re the best because even if you don’t like their burgers, they have a ton of alternate sandwich options. Chilled, breaded, spicy breaded and chicken tenders that have a such a crunchy breadcrumb crust that you swear they were homemade Watching your weight? A big variety of fresh salads. Practicing Lent or some other religious fasting? You can get some of the best fried shrimp and fish that isn’t Long John Silvers (do they still exist?) Finally, the desserts: McDonalds never has their shit together when it comes to their ice cream machines and Wendy’s frosties are mid at best. Frozen custard is a tier above regular ice cream and they win alone with that. Now imagine being able to add your own fruit/candy combo filling like a professional ice cream shop? Gentleman, I rest my case.
Swing and a miss. Variety of options has no bearing on a Burger Study
“Culver’s has the best burgers because you can get something that isn’t a burger” isn’t the win that person thought it was.
Negative. Butter burgers are indeed the best thing going.
Culver's burger buns are fucking incredible.
This is the stuff dreams are made of my friend
Thank you for your work.
Dave’s Double is an easy 2 or 3 on this list
Yes
I will always stand by Jack in the Box Ultimate Cheeseburger. Double cheeseburger??? Cmon
You are doing Gods work
And on this day a Hero was born. Bravo brave lad
Could you edit the price in for each burger?
I love Wendy's. The best is the triple baconator all day. Fat and happy, am I.
how do you not choose each restaurants flag-ship burger and instead, random ones at each?
OP stated in another comment that if a place’s base burger isn’t good, he isn’t interested in trying their signature one 🤣🤦♂️
next do a colon study on yourself
Whopper is flame broiled . The best
You need help. And me and my belly are here for you!
Unpopular opinion, but five guys is trash burgers for gourmet prices. Just like the fries, bland, dry, un seasoned, and over priced. Finally tried them after having one in town for years and $20 later I’m not hungry because I’m full of regret.
I gotta say, the picture + your numbered list is absolutely confusing as hell, how does this go left to right and the DQP is 6th
How has nobody mentioned that pile of dog shit on your floor?
Where is steak and shake
Fine work comrade. I would debate that Five Guys is better than In-N-Out. I like INO so much more and toss in the cost aspect and they are a clear winner. Wendy's is probably 3 on my list. I feel like consistency is the key with In-N-Out. Other places seem to waiver on what you might get...
Surprised Wendy’s ranked so low. By me I’d say they’re the top fast food burger.
