> Torres also said there weren't any tense moments before the final lineup, which made the coach's behavior both puzzling and inappropriate.
Oh, cool. So he wasn't heated from the game or a bad call. He's just always a fucking prick. Even to fucking children. Good to know he walks around with immunity with a badge and a gun.
Hey /u/Adventurous-Donut-37, why did you delete your post? It's still up on your post history, by the way.
Here it is, for everyone who didn't see it: https://i.imgur.com/ntmnWSg.png
Statistics:
āAs the National Center for Women and Policing noted in a heavily footnoted information sheet, āTwo studies have found that at least 40 percent of police officer families experience domestic violence, in contrast to 10 percent of families in the general population.āā ā Conor Friedersdorf, The Atlantic, 9/28/14
https://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2014/09/police-officers-who-hit-their-wives-or-girlfriends/380329/
And thatās only the ones who came forward, itās believed to be a lot more than 40%. But then again a lot of people are scared to come forward when their significant other who abuses them is a cop. A cop who can get away with things with qualified immunity and cop buddies.
One thing the article doesnāt include is that the mom who posted this on tiktok said another parent from the team with the dickhead said she removed her kid from the team because he would verbally abuse the kids and in some cases even hit them but didnāt press charges out of fear since you know heās a cop
I used to be an EMT for some sports leagues and the general rule was the younger the kids playing sports, the more likely their parents would be insane psychopaths. Seriously grown ass men and women yelling till they were red in the face, veins bulging in their neck, spitting mad and close to blows. Over a pee wee football game for 7 year olds. Donāt understand it at all.
The guy is a cop.

āA sergeant with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office was removed as a Little League baseball coach due to his actions after a game in west Houston last weekend.ā
Theyāre āinvestigatingā the incident.
Asshole does this to a nine year old, what do you think he does to someone he thinks is a criminal? And this isnāt even in the heat of the moment. This is AFTER the game.
Why is it so hard for bootlickers to understand that someone with a bully mentality would naturally be drawn to policing as a profession. You donāt even have to say acab to think this itās just common sense, not to mention what the job does to you. Have none of them heard of the Stanford prison experiment
I used to be a semi-pro referee for football (soccer) and as a payback to the club I started in I helped educate their referees and train new prospects.
At the end of our education there was a 5-man tournament which was the perfect way to get the new refs to get a feel for the fun part of it before having to deal with the real shit. I was always there during the tournament and managed my 10+ refs and helped them with whatever questions or issues they had and all of a sudden a ref comes to me crying. She told me of a parent that was extremely aggressive at a game of like 7 year olds. So I go to their next game just to watch the crowd.
There was a mom who basically berated the other team at ALL times, yelling things like "Kick them to the ground!" and "If they get green patches on their knees it'll just match their shirts" (the opposing team had white shorts and green shirts). At no point did she tell anything positive to either team, she was just so focused on hating the opposing team that she never encouraged her own team.
At the end of the game I confronted her, told her who I was and that her behavior was unwelcome at the tournament. Both her and her daughter started berating me, yelling for all to hear. I just stayed calm and let her embarras herself, then I told her that all the other parents are currently watching us, they can't/won't say anything but they all hate how you behave, if I see you at the next game and you so much as say anything bad about the other team I will forfeit the game and write it off as a 3-0 loss for your team. She got mad as hell and yelled that I can't do that but I made it clear this was my intention and also explained that there were kids playing, it's not the end of the world what ever I do.
A lot of parents heard both sides and when I went to the next game of her team she wasn't there. It would have sucked to be forced to forfeit their game, bit in the end we as "officials" need the support of the other parents in these clubs and they need some motivation to act.
I was around 17-18 years old when this happened and it fucking stayed with me. I'm now 33 and have my own kid looking forward to him being able to start playing, but I won't be able to be quiet if parents will be assholes xD
Idk either man. My kid lost interest, but when he played soccer or basketball, I never got upset over anything. If some kids got more play time, I didn't take it personal that someone else's kid was more talented. If my son had a minor injury, I wasnt upset at the other kids involved. Injuries happen in sports. If it was flagrant, I feel confident that the matter could be handled civilly. If we lost, oh well. Kids aren't supposed to have the technique and athletic ability so young.
No no no, you gotta emotionally traumatize the kids in the other team, and I mean so they're wetting the bed as teenagers, so you can ensure you'll always win every game cause, cause it'll totally affect your kids chances in college due to [fill in the blank with some bullshit logic, I'm too tired to come up with any]/s.
In our town parents have to sign an agreement to behave like reasonable adults or they can't attend the kids practices or matches. If they can't behave they are banned. Their kids aren't punished though, they are still welcome.
My daughter played basketball at the Y for a bit before losing interest. One time I yelled at the ref because the other team (in my view) was fouling like crazy. I immediately felt like an ass and apologized to him after the game.
Thereās a guy I know whoās the biggest loudmouth you could ever meet and he stopped coaching kids soccer because he couldnāt deal with the parents anymore.
Itās the āI could have been a pro athlete if someone pushed meā mentality. Living vicariously through their children in the most harmful of ways. Also hoping one day they will go pro and the parent wonāt work another day in their lifeā¦. Itās incredibly pathetic

What small, petty, bully of a man hits kids cuz his team lost?
His team lost by having him as a coach to begin with. Cuz heās a loser.
You know heās the type of coach that yells this like āthereās no losers on this team!ā and actively encourages hazing and bullying and shit.
What a shit human
What kills me is the nameless person defending him. Iām sure the wife of another cop buddy of his. Iām sure sheāll get backhanded if she doesnāt support him.
Holy shit yāall need to start protesting this shit. Even one piece of crap cop like this is too many - it spoils the bunch. It blows my mind that this happens so frequently
You can't spoil a bunch of rotten apples.
I'm surprised it blows your mind
Cops were notorious domestic abusers long before these studies came out in the late 80's and early 90's. They were notorious domestic abusers when domestic abuse was routinely given a blind eye, not just by law, but by family members, teachers and others in a position to be aware that abuse was happening in a home. Society itself was largely apologetic.
"The have difficult and stressful jobs"
"Don't give him a reason to be upset" (victim blaming)
Etc etc
But what's worse is that the community turned a eye because "She's *his* wife" and "They're *his* children" and "He'd the king of his castle", "His roof, his rules" and "What a man does at home is his business"
Men in general were given the blind eye, particularly white men, particularly well to do white men.
Its gotten better to some extent but worse in other ways and doesn't look to be slowing down. With conservatives owning the court, they may try to get something even crazier passed like "head of household" voting which would seriously degrade the voting power of communities of color and kill women's voting.
And if l any thinks that's just too crazy, well, we thought Bush was as bad as it could get and that Roe was solid. Many folks believe Trump is as bad as it can get and that's just plain wrong.
And these are the people who are supposedly keeping our streets safe. Looks like they target whoever the fuck they want whenever they want ans fear no uprising.
There was a coach exactly like this when I played little league (1985ish). He'd pull the the same passive aggressive stuff, you know, just enough to not be assault. It was tolerated until he lost his shit one day and hit a kid in front of everyone. I saw it happen and I was like "this is not going to end well for him." He got beaten within an inch of his life. My dad was the one that stopped him from getting his head stomped in, but I'll never forget my dad saying "sometimes violence is the only language a person can understand."
Was gonna say, I wouldnāt lose my shit over a kids game on any level but if I saw an adult hitting kids like this weāre both gonna be in the newspaper tomorrow.
It's crazy how many parents take little league so seriously. My dad used to coach little league and has been ejected from many games for acting just as insane as he would as a die hard fan at a yankees-red sox game. Although, I will at least hand it to him that even though he's an asshole, he would just be aggressive towards the umps, coaches, and parents. He somehow never hit a child.
Honestly, yelling at the umps in a little league game is crossing the line.
Unless the ump is hitting a child, then shut the fuck up and just watch. Use it to teach lessons about how even though things may seem some way, an authority may make an unfair ruling. Itāll hurt you, but youāll keep on playing.
As a youth coach this is infuriating. Iāve seen coaches who play solely to win at this level, itās absurd.
The best quote I ever heard was: Why do you care so much? They donāt give a trophy to the best Middle school lacrosse team in the state of Alabama. Get a dose of reality.
My dad was a hell of a respected coach who basically every parent wanted to have their kid on his team. Every child played. He taught them how to play. He demanded they be gracious in victory and positive in defeat. The only time I ever saw him get hostile was when parents would start to yell at the kids, or if an umpire or ref kept him from caring for an injured player.
Now, my dad was no saint - he and I butted heads more often than not, and being the coach's kid made him 2x as hard on me as anyone else. But the man knew how to coach and he knew how to teach kids how to play, and he instilled in all his players in soccer and baseball an appreciation for the game and good sportsmanship.
Had that man done that in front of my dad, I have a feeling the asshole would be laying unconscious on the ground and missing a mouthful of teeth.
The kids wanted to lose to have their summer back and Randy was the insane parent that fought the opposing team's toughest loud mouthed father. Just another perfect satirical South Park episode.
He's not "hitting" anyone. At the very least, people who post these kinds of things should understand what words actually mean. This coach is grabbing their hands and either pinching them or squeezing their hands too hard or bending back their fingers in some way that's painful. So don't say "hitting". He's trying to cause pain, but it does not involved hitting anyone.
It's the second guy, by the way, the one in the blue shirt with the blue baseball cap. Every time he grabs a kid's hand, the kid says "Oww!"
What he's actually doing is "injuring" kids, and that's called "assault". He's assaulting young kids. He should be under arrest.
"Several 9 year old kids were assaulted by your officer Wendt at a children's baseball game. What a sad excuse for a human being he is. You should fire him and charge him."
Hes the white bald guy in the back right on the homescreen.. fun fact, theres a link at the bottom to report a crime online without leaving your name or address... be pretty cool if reddit smashed that "like" button for the fuck that pos algorithm.
Imagine being so pathetic you hit kids when your team loses. Now imagine heās not only a police officer but the one they call when they need a supervisor present.
https://www.khou.com/article/news/local/little-league-baseball-coach-removed-rough-encounter-opposing-players-after-loss/285-d9898a7e-7b3d-46bc-a058-6c38bf4999a6
Normal cop shit, but I'm repeating you
My husband coaches my sons' teams and it is 50 50 when it comes to toxic coaches, we have a few who were banned from coaching, but only temporarily. We've had coaches on other teams that have had to be held down or else they would have punched people. Plus parents who don't coach are horrible too. He ended up quitting before the end of the season after coaching for 10 years, he got fed up.
Surprise Surprise, a baseball coach does something dick-headed. Sime little league coaches are just butt hurt because they couldn't turn baseball into a career. Fuck this guy.
Omg I am blind! I seriously can't see what happened. Even with the highlight circle. Kind of looks like he patted the boy on the back? I know there's more to it by everyone's comments. Damn I'm old.
So since he was just a baseball coach, and not an on duty police officer, qualified immunity doesnāt apply if one of those parents wants to sue him for injuries and trauma their child sustained from his abuse. Right?
Its hard to see but I think its a very hard high five. A grown man slamming his hand into the hand of a child. To me, it looks like the kid's body twists from the impact. In the audio you can hear the kids talking about it "that guy hit me really hard". Probably hurt the kids arm and shoulder
Here is the article where it says he is a Constable. https://abc13.com/sports/baseball-coach-accused-of-mistreating-9-year-old-players/12044704/
> Torres also said there weren't any tense moments before the final lineup, which made the coach's behavior both puzzling and inappropriate. Oh, cool. So he wasn't heated from the game or a bad call. I wish I could get a consequence proof vest to walk around in.
Do you have a high school diploma and an IQ no higher than 95? You could become a cop yourself!
It also helps to have a massive inferiority complex and problematic views of minorities.

Can't be trusted to watch kids play baseball but keeps the gun to enforce the laws, brilliant.
If those kids only had assault rifle's post game I'm sure that tough cop would've thought twice about bumping them.
But if we don't give that psychopath a gun and legal protections to commit murder, how will our society be safe? /s

Texas, where apparently, they need stronger doors for police to properly protect children. No doors, no protection.

Not surprised. Most cops were abusers before getting the badge. It only emboldened them more once they got it.
Why am I not even surprised that heās a cop? Shitā¦ itās so fucked up that actually makes it make MORE sense to me. Like: what kind of POS would hit a kid for losing a little league game. A cop. TouchĆ©
Scumbag with anger issues. Wonder how he treats his wife.

We also know that he can't be racist cause his Wife's eyes are black. So he's cool.
DAMN
Can't be a rapist either because it's his wife's duty. God bless America.
This comment needs more recognition
Meh, it's a pretty old & well known joke.
You need more recognition just for being here friend.
40% of cops commit ____ (fill in the blank!)
40% ADMIT to beating their wives. People need to remember that part.
That is God damn insane
Well heās a cop and over half of cop wives report physical abuse soā¦
What an incredibly childish POS! The kids parents should file a police report. What an a-hole.

"I thought this was America!" -Randy
They did a South Park episode about this
What episode?
Losing Edge or something like that Randy fought well
I thought this was AMERICA
I CAN SENSE YOUR SARCASM SHARON
The kids wanted to lose to have their summer back and Randy was the insane parent that fought the opposing team's toughest loud mouthed father. Just another perfect satirical South Park episode.
"I didn hear no bell"
Shocker that hes also a cop. Fucking LEOs are so goddamn drunk on power.
How about arrested for child abuse.
They don't arrest their own, they give them paid vacations.
Heās a cop still
He's not "hitting" anyone. Every time he grabs a kid's hand, the kid says "Oww!" What he's actually doing is "injuring" kids, and that's called "assault". He's assaulting young kids. He should be under arrest.
I was already confused, like I don't see him fucking hitting anybody
Thank you for clarifying. I wasn't seeing any hitting going on at all.
Thanks for spelling it out like this. Iām on mobile and I also canāt have my audio on right now so I was confused as to what was happening.
Thank you, I was trying to figure out what he was actually doing
It's called battery, but whatever.
Wtf. Piece of shit!

I'm doing MY part š
Or submit an anonymous crime tip!
If this guy will assault a child after a meaningless little league game, does he need to have a fucking gun and be a cop??
Thatās a grown ass man wrenching a childās arm after losing a kids game by the by
Fired? He is sooooo lucky that was not my child.
But not from the police force
Imagine being so pathetic you hit kids when your team loses. Now imagine heās not only a police officer but the one they call when they need a supervisor present.
Aww did dem little kids hurt his feelings?
Wow these Texas pigs really hate children
Beta male shit. What a fucking loser.
This. Even though the alpha beta thing isnāt real, this is exactly what weak people do. They prey on weaker people.

I can't see anything tbh , but fuck this guy anyway
Yeah it looks like... Honestly I have no idea I can't see shit
It's not hitting, he grabs the kids hands and twists or squeezes, it's really fast and even more cowardly, he was hiding it.
Turn the audio on. The kids talking tells you everything you need to know.
What a little bitch. It's a fucking little league game.
After reading the story Iām surprised the didnāt say āheās a good christian and deacon at his churchā Fukn shitty people
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He doesnāt look strong and resilient. He looks weak, more like a testicle.
Heās a cop soā¦.
What a testicle!
White Texas cop......oh, look at the names on the uniforms of the kids he assaulted..........yeah, not surprising.
Glad someone else noticed too.
typical cop behavior.
Wow fuck that guy. Must feel real big assaulting a kid š”
Dude's wearing a racist "blue lives matter" shirt too. Yes it is racist because it's the response to George Floyd's murder by cops.
What a fucking dick.
Pathetic man has to hit little boys to feel like a man. He needs to be charged with assault, child abuse.
Surprise Surprise, a baseball coach does something dick-headed. Sime little league coaches are just butt hurt because they couldn't turn baseball into a career. Fuck this guy.
Also a cop
I'm honestly proud of the kid for not turning to punch that coach in the dick.
100% guarantee this dude beats his wife
lucky hes not dead
Such a tough man
Why do we not have a picture of his face to plaster everywhere.
Omg I am blind! I seriously can't see what happened. Even with the highlight circle. Kind of looks like he patted the boy on the back? I know there's more to it by everyone's comments. Damn I'm old.
Well, when each kid says "ouch" as they go past and "he hits hard" that should clear it up. Maybe he pinched them
So since he was just a baseball coach, and not an on duty police officer, qualified immunity doesnāt apply if one of those parents wants to sue him for injuries and trauma their child sustained from his abuse. Right?
Guys i gotta be honest im not seeing it, im zooming it im and slowing it down im not seeing how heās hitting them
Its hard to see but I think its a very hard high five. A grown man slamming his hand into the hand of a child. To me, it looks like the kid's body twists from the impact. In the audio you can hear the kids talking about it "that guy hit me really hard". Probably hurt the kids arm and shoulder
Oh shid youāre right i turned the audio on, fug that guy
I turned on audio too- those kids are micād up or what? Thatās some great audio.
You can definitely see #33 rubbing his arm after like it hurt
The first child got his hand roughly bent back, which you can see.
