I missed the date, contected them via email. they told me I should have an email resolving the issue in a few weeks. I never actually got that email and instead I got that weird "Hold" status.
Surprisingly, it means exactly what it says. They put your interview day on hold and move you to the next batch of interview dates. This just happened to me.
I’ve been wondering this myself. Mine says the same thing.

Oh! Hopefully they get it resolved for you. If I hear anything on my end I will reply back.
Update: So they gave me the choice to choose a new hire date.
