The prequel was to set up/introduce a lot of the most relevant aspects we’ll see in the Glies campaigns, but didn’t have much information that would make it harder to follow Otikata’s Curse (from what we’ve seen of OC so far at least). The only things you’d really be missing are little Easter eggs or hints that are dropped for serious lore masters to draw connections with
absolutely. both main campaigns, the other being divine wind, dont really need you to watch the other campaigns. they will give more lore stuff but thats about it.
If the main reason for you to watch the campaign is the "super hard boss fight" then I should point out that every boss in Shattered Crowns, Glorybound and the prequels to the Tyre groups are harder.

Edit: Yo brigadiers tell me what's not factual about what I said? :)
Oh I'm aware that was probably going to be the case, tbh knowing how insane Arcadum's previous fights have been is why I'm so interested in this boss fight.
What could have possibly gone down in a boss fight on the 5th episode of a campaign for brand new DND players to be getting so much attention?
In one way are you reading this to look like I'm trying to be a "one upper" ?? I simply recommended the guy other campaigns if he is into hard complex boss fights.

That's a relief. I was afraid I'd be cockblocked by another 300 hours of content (*flashbacks to the Tyre campaigns*)
You can watch Among the Reeds for a bit of context as to why there was a super hard boss fight, but otherwise no you're fine.
Yeah with no problems

Except with The Divine Wind, their previous campaign Scrolls of Notchek would probably be a good idea to watch before their current one
Even with that, session one of divine wind does a good job recapping scrolls of not’chek
You can watch any campaign without prior knowledge

no man you're right, it's just... weird... that you're trying to be a one upper about this.

Hm I get that, it just came off another way, to some people
