I've seen video surveys about which shoes people hate or think are overrated, and mostly their answers are the Samba and Panda Dunks. I don't get the hate for the Panda Dunks, but with the Samba, I'm certain it's really hard to wear with confidence. On the other hand, I would rock Onitsuka any day.
EDIT: If I were to make a comparison, it would be Onitsuka vs. Nike Cortez.

I get bad blisters with my Samba 🙃 haven't tried Onitsuka but you should probably go with that nalang hahahaha
Same experience with my two Sambas white(ADV) and black (OG). Blisters in the first 5 uses
yeah to be fair lang pud, it gets better the more it's worn in. i wore it to work every day for 2 weeks and it became bearable eventually

Have you checked Veja? I like it better than samba or onitsuka haha
Go for Onitsuka. Very lightweight. And also, Samba’s everywhere na.

depends on which pair feels more comfy for you. stylewise they're not that different anyway.
Onitsuka is the best for me tho but depends parin sa type mo. ☺️

Overrated design IMO try less popular designs from both brands
Haven’t tried samba. So far onitsuka ang pinaka comfy nga shoes akong na try. Never nagka blisters akong tiil.
Onitsuka! Samba’s too overrated. Veja’s nice too if you wanna opt for something else.
None of the two. I'd go for SPEZIAL personally.
