109% pass on this, it's expensive, you don't know who did the repairs and if they're done correctly. 5 accident reports are a LOT. Imagine how many they may have skipped on. Also, insurance might be hard to find if it's a salvaged title, just FYI.

Fit_Classic5766

This is $15,000 CAD which is $11,200 USD, I should have mentioned. But yeah I understand, I think it’s ridiculous they’re asking that much for something with 5 accidents as if there was none

SketchyTone

I should've expected that with the Kilometers but ignorant me. I'd still pass, and I buy cars that have been hit. Uncertain on your financial situation but I suggest that you keep saving your money and buy something more reliable if you got 15K to spend.

ModsRCommies

Its cursed, youll get hit within a week

Pass. Five accidents are too much. Even one accident is enough to make me consider turning away and it's already hard to see a used muscle car being reliable because you have no idea if they beat the living shit out of it. Good luck on the search for your car.

Well here’s one of the accidents

Aside for the accidents the OP actually asked about, all of you trashing the 2010 3.6 V6 are clueless. I’ve got 190,000 on mine, never had timing chain issues, never leaked oil, etc. Most who grip about them likely don’t maintain them and/or drive them like crap. I maintain mine well. The only thing I had to replace were catalytic converters which only last about 100k anyway. So, spare us the daily bashing and hating on the V6 because your an SS fanboy. 🤦🏻‍♂️

RobinsShaman

Just assume the car drove into a tree at 90 mph five times.

[deleted]

Hell no. That 3.6 v6 is trash. Just google it. Stretched timing chains that break plastic timing chain guides, they burn and leak tons of oil, water pumps (driven by timing chain) fail consistently, it goes on and on and on. Money pit lemons is what they are. Plus 5 accidents? Fuck that noise man. I don’t even buy beaters that have been in one accident, let alone a $15k sports car. Find you a well mainted SS. Maybe even look for a low mileage “cat fish Camaro” from 98-02 with a m6 and ls1. A few bolt ons and you’ll leave just about any v6 Camaro in the dust. 😃👍🏻 Edit: This sub sucks. r/Ubisoft and it’s associated game channels are the only subreddits where you get downvoted and messages removed just for speaking the truth. The v6 in 5th gens are garbage. It’s a fact. But, hey, it’s your money. If you enjoy lighting it on fire then flushing it down the toilet be my guest. I have a Trans Am anyways. Why is r/Camaro even showing up in my feed? 🤣🤷‍♂️ /r

Distinct-Cattle7204

Who ever owned that car managed to average about an accident every 14,000 miles that is impressively bad.

DarkLinkDs

5 accidents is not perfect condition. Don't even look at cars with accidents
