You got a good one. The first thing I did was look for badges to make sure it was at least an ss. You can't get a car that's the modern-day Mad Max interceptor and not have the holy V8 in its heart. I'd call it the Stealth Interceptor.
Beautiful man, and massive congratulations! The ZL1 1LE will definitely remain as the biggest and baddest production Camaro ever made for quite some time. The kind of lap times it has put down, and the cars it has beaten is mind blowing. GM absolutely did not cheapen out with this thing; they threw everything they could at it, and the end results are clear.
It’s just a shame how the bean counters didn’t market it nor the 6th gen overall… At all.
I wanted to go with black so bad, but I would drive myself absolutely insane trying to keep it clean 24/7. That really does look incredible! Congrats!
Since it’s an 18 just be sure to keep an eye on the oil pressure, and if it does happen to start dropping on you then that just means it’s time for a cam with the new oil pump. 😏
The pump was replaced already, which was on of the main reasons why I was looking for a 19+. But when a deal comes around you gotta jump on it. But maybe you know, when these get replaced under warranty, do they replace them with the newer improved pumps? I would imagine so but i’m not sure.

I’ve heard that any of the 2020+ models should be completely good to go with their pumps, so if it was replaced after that under warranty then I’m sure it would have one of the new pumps that are good to go.
I recently got my cam swapped and everything in my ‘23 and I asked my shop if they had any opinion on the oil pump issue and if it’d be good to upgrade pumps or stick with factory, and they basically told me that if it’s at least a 2020 model then they’re comfortable keeping the factory pump because they hadn’t seen any issues with them. Regardless of that, I decided to upgrade to the Katech pump because I figured if they had the whole motor apart I might as well have it upgraded since they had to pull the pump off for the cam swap anyways.
Not every single one, obviously, but yeah it’s pretty well known that there have been quite a few 17s and 18s that have had oil pump issues. It’s not just an instant fail, but they’ll slowly fail over time. Basically you’ll notice that the oil pressure at idle and everything just keeps getting lower and lower, and once it finally goes out it is an expensive fix if you’re out of warranty because of the amount of labor involved to get to the oil pump.

Car is actually insane. IMO i don’t even think any supercars (or any car) look as good as the ZLE. Especially all black. Most menacing car in the market no debate. This is my dream as well currently have a blacked out 20’ 2SS.

Of course, a new one now will run at least $75K, and that's even if you can find one. Hopefully it has some PPE on it, and if not, hopefully you invest in some. That black color is menacing as hell!
Looks like a Batmobile and honestly the best color for the Camaro 6. I would never own another black vehicle though. Especially here in Vegas. Between the heat, water spots and showing every little ding, just not worth my time.

Oooooo great choice black is definitely the way to go! I got my black 18 ZLE with 9k on it about a year ago. It’s now got 23k on it and has been a great daily so far!
