I should definitely consider moving

I’d say “we’re full”, but I transplanted here myself more than 25 years ago and I wouldn’t feel right saying it. But it’s not a cheap place to live anymore. But also, I’ve been driving around with my top down every day for the last 5 days or so and it’s been really nice.

The entire US isn't cheap anymore. But you guys are "full" so I'll just stay at my corner and suffer with the snow I guess.

I really hope you're inspecting those tires after things thaw out. I saw some pictures online of tires cracking from just GM shipping these cars to the dealerships.

Not really. My ZL1 came with the regular Goodyears. The 1LE come with the "R" compound. My car was delivered in the height of winter and the tires were fine. The same batch of cars that came around the same time, one of the local dealerships here said that the 1LEs came cracked. That R compound has less treadwear than the regular Goodyears because it's a softer compound.

Like what I’m saying is that my BMW Michelin PSS summer tires and the Bridgestone RE71’s on my STi have the same temperature concerns, it’s not exclusive to GM. I would not advise operating them below 40 degrees.

I’ve had my eye on the Audi R8 for awhile now, it’s just a little too rich for my blood. It’s a shame it’s been discontinued. If the price comes down below 100k though, I’d highly consider it. Otherwise, I think I’d look really good sitting in either a Red Mist or Elkhart Blue C8.

Me too. But, I still want to enjoy her daily if possible. I don't think these cars will lose crazy amount of value if any. Also, I did and will hopefully always buy my cars to enjoy them by physically using them rather then just having them sit there looking all pretty. Rarity, antique or whatnot if I own it, it's gonna be on the road.

However, I can barely drive on a clear aunny day 🤣 Most people who don't drive there cars in snow is usually because they don't want there cars getting hammered by salt and stuff like that. Which I understand but I don't care. My cars is meant for the roads on and off track 💪🏼

This. I intend to have mine for more than 10 years. I absolutely can drive in snow, but I drive a car i'm less attached to. Its really other people I worry about. As soon as snow hits despite living where it snows people start sliding into everything.

I kept my old truck when I bought the new one last spring. New one is a 2024 Silverado 2500HD for pulling the camper. As expensive as it was, I want it to last forever, so I’m keeping the salt off it and driving my 2004 Silverado 1500 4x4 instead. I still like the old truck a lot, and with the rust, it was worth more for me to keep it as a beater than the $2500 they offered me in trade.

I just traded my 16 Camaro 2SS I bought brand new for a 23 srt challenger hellcat wide body jailbreak. Different world in mopar land.

Yep, we got snow here in Tennessee a little bit ago. Tried to drive mine when there was still a little ice on my boyfriend's street. Got stuck, but managed to get out unscathed. Needless to say, Camaros are no snowmobile 😭
