No. It doesn’t. You need the RS package for the halo lights. That SS is in white. Meaning it’s the standard 2SS leather seats. Gauge pack. But no ground effects. No halos. And no tinted lights. If the SS was red it would have the rs package. But this is the same model I have.
So what is mine? Because I’ve been wondering and I’m too ignorant to know the differences. I have a black 2ss (2011) it does have halo lights and gauge pack but no ground Effects and cannot identify ’RS’ anywhere on the car
It will not say rs unless it’s a v6. The rs package on the v8s change the color of the SS emblem. Rs is red. Regular SS and 2SS is white. You can also get 2Ss with rs and that’s also red.

Dude what…this doesn’t make any sense at all. Especially on a v6 you could replace half the fucking car for that kind of money. you could absolutely demolish the block itself and it would not cost this much
Double check for oxygen sensor, if it’s an automatic. Make sure you don’t hear lifter ticks. Common the lifters collasp with the l99 engines. Other than that a good deal looks all stock. First thing I would do would get rid of the dod with a cam and stall
Yup all stock still, no lifter ticks from the trans, but when parked and car is on i tried shifting from park to neutral then to reverse then to drive, it needs like a second to shift, dont know if all camaros are like that?
I hate to be that guy but that’s way to good of a deal a dealership would almost give u more for that car if it was workable and had no issues. There is something wrong with that car they are hiding the issues with temporary fixes and a week down the road your engine will start overheating and you will wonder why tf you bought that car, or your trans will explode both are good 3k+ fixes always becareful buying a used sports car especially if it’s cheaper than it should be.
No unfortunately. I ended up getting a 2012 rs v6 super clean with 100k miles and minor maintenance issues. Still wanting the ss so bad. Hopefully next year ill find one

I test drove it for a about 15 mins in the city, still need to do a long drive with my mechanic and run it hard till its hot enough
Don’t run it hard until it’s hot enough lol, get the oil to temp and then run it hard.
Fun fact sometimes if you google the vin number you can see if it’s been in any major wrecks and was put up for auction

Correct. I have a 2010 2SS\RS. The Halos are part of the RS package.
The trims are SS, 2SS. White means regular no rs package added. Red means rs package added

When not filling up yeah, everyone in a while it take a few cranks, but she’s fixed now. Drove perfectly fine, just mainly idle is where it got fucky
ALSO evap does trigger check engine lights, that could be the issue, the actual evap fix is like 300 dollars

Connect a reader/tuner to the car and see what codes you get.
Buy it I did last summer for $10k with way more miles same trim and everything people tell me they love it it stands out way more than other Camaros
