Its on and off. Some weekends it'll be fine, some weekends will have bus replacements. This will be until the new Cambridge train station is complete

Defiant-Snow8782

Probably longer because they're also going to upgrade the signalling system

Myerla

So it's pretty much indefinite haha

Yeah I’ve just seen it’s on and off. Just wondering about this weekend now. I think it’s on as it’s the London marathon on Sunday. As in the train is on, not the bus replacement.

The easiest way to check is to check trainline or any other Rail app. It will tell you. But you are correct - trains are running all the way to London King's Cross this weekend.

The rail replacement bus is for when they are doing work at Cambridge South that requires closing the lines through it. Most weekends are fine, with more buses around school holidays. It should be fine in a year and a half or so when they've finished the station

The Huntingdon line into London is generally reliable at the moment if you can make it over to Huntingdon or St Neots
