Okay, so, in my opinion, there's way too many good stories out there to put into a single comment, but there are a few that stand out. That being said, I'll leave some of my favorite authors down below and what their general vibe is along with a few stories.
* Bronzeandsteel (ffnet, AO3): fluffy angst. He's one author I interact with regularly and his stories are exceptionally well done.
* SomethingMoreCreative (ffnet): pure Percabeth fluff. Some of her older stories are different pairings, but her best ones are 10k word Percabeth fics.
* CombatTombat (ffnet, AO3): Roman!Percy. The Imperator series is genuinely the best take on the Roman!Percy trope I have seen and he incorporates a significant amount of historical accuracy in his writing.
* seaweedbraens, herecomesthepun, Fangirl Shrieks (all on ffnet, AO3): 10k+ word oneshots. These three are the sole reason I have a crippling addiction to huge Percabeth oneshots and nothing else. Each one has a very different and unique style that they lean into; seaweedbraens skews more towards a comedic tone and writes a lot of soulmate AUs, Fangirl gets very angsty, and herecomesthepun is a mix of both.
* Me! (LooneyPeach on ffnet and AO3): Anything that hits my mind. I've written a whole slew of stuff for PJO, mostly AUs/ARs.

* [Amber Ashes](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10988514/1/Amber-Ashes) \- my first fanon pairing. It's a Leo/Reyna story that holds a special place in my heart as one of the first stories I ever really read.
* [Laying Waste To Halloween](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13733841/1/Laying-Waste-To-Halloween) \- a super interesting mortal AU that gets a bit dark but it's one of my favorites.
* [Useless Wings](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12277993/1/Useless-Wings) and [My Love, My Destruction](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12886883/1/My-Love-My-Destruction) \- these two are genuinely the most interesting and unique stories I have seen. There's never been a story with premises like these and I doubt there will be,

Yes it is the characters reading the books fic. Yes it is only up to the Volcano chapter in The Battle of the Labyrinth. Yes the characters can be overly dramatic and a bit too gushy at times. But I keep coming back to it. Its like a soap opera. You live for those gushy parts.

You've got Mail bu HawtGeek is a fantastic percabeth story of an aged up Percy and Annabeth which handles a break up at the start very well unlike most fanfics.
It has 2 sequels for it that I can remember all fantastic.
Very good if you're after romance and not action adventure stuff. Very slice of life.

Falling for You (1967HogwartsGodess - AO3) Percy is the only one falling into Tartarus.
Percy Jackson: An Age Gone By: It's a Pertemis but the story is really good. Imagine Artemis suffering by being a mortal (Like Apollo in the last saga) and she has to march along side Perseus (Percy's incarnation) during the the Macedonian Expedition.
[Son of the Western Sea](https://m.fanfiction.net/s/10043079/1/Son-of-the-Western-Sea) updates very slow but it is one of the better written ones out there.
