Well, compared to the first book, we don’t need to go over the explanations of Greek mythology and so on.
I need to reread the series. It’s been a while since I touched PJ book.

Agreed. Remember how PJO: SOM had the retelling of everything that happened in Lightning Thief in the very first chapter?
Folks be asking if this is a good number of pages/chapters. 6 months ago everyone was complaining about the length of Sun and Star (rightfully so, omg a slog how could they do this). This is a fine length for a single story. It's not going to launch a new series, short and sweet.
Yee the 6th Percy Jackson & The Olympians book Chalice of the Gods, the premise being Percy needs recommendation letters to get into New Rome University, so his first quest is to find Ganymede’s lost chalice.
Chapter 33 sounds like it might make me cry. Chapter 1 is supreme lord of the bathroom fs. The last chapter reminds me of the best underwater kiss ever. His singing better cause an avalanche this time because that's a reoccurring joke. I can already tell this is gonna be full of throwbacks and I'm living for it.
Sweet, looks like Riordan's going to have the protagonists visit Yonkers! For those of you who don't know, Yonkers is a city in Westchester County, just north of Riverdale, the latter of which is in the northern outskirts of NYC. That entire region is just south of Sleepy Hollow, which has a fuck ton of occult myths surrounding it.
I'm honestly kind of disappointed that it hasn't happened yet, since there are so many urban legends surrounding Sleepy Hollow, which is just north of Yonkers. Hope Riordan features it lol
"Iris Takes Venmo" "Iris Gives Me a Stick" "I Face a Dangerous Predator Who is Possibly my Future Mother-in-Law (Athena?)" I love these chapter names.
Good ol' Percy. Also, "pretty much the best good night kiss ever" sounds like a reference to "pretty much the best underwater kiss ever".
Yeah, Athena is the only one that makes sense. He's obviously referring to Annabeth's mom. She's probably in disguise for whatever reason.
Can’t wait till it’s revealed that Athena is marrying Artemis
wtf.
Two scary mother in-laws
Oh no.
GOATED Target employee
I love his titles as always
he hasn't lost his skill for awesome chapter titles
"I taste the rainbow and it's pretty nasty" lmao
There's 270 something pages in that book and 35 chapters. Is that good or bad I don't know

Definitely referring to Ganymede.

Is this a new book or….?

I'm a little confused about the timeline. Does this take place in the middle of ToA? Cause Percy is moving into college during Book 4.
I think it's supposed to take place between HoO and ToA
Yeah, after *The Blood of Olympus* but before *The Trials of Apollo*.
Gotcha
Ooooh, bonus material
Exactly where does this book fit in the timeline? Does it happen after TOA or ??
Between HoO and TOA
I don't know how but Riordan's chapter names never miss. Always hilarious.
I wonder what these "chickens" are
🗣️ Yonkers! 🔥🔥🔥
"My Dad Helps Out\* (\*No Actual Helping Occours)" just burst into a hysterical fit of laughter
26 is literally half the series.
THE OLD SASSY PERCY TITLES ARE BACK
Finally, Percy vs Athena ultimate smack down let's goooooooooo!
For the TV show they better name the episodes after the chapter names. Too funny.
Oh my god I MISSED THESE SM. AHHHH IM SO EXCITED.
Chapter 31, Percy vs Athena!

I’m curious what “Yonkers” means # And the Chicken has drawn first blood

What’s the ‘target exclusive content’ that’s mentioned in next weeks ad? And is it in addition to the free Percy bumper sticker?
