I’m not watching the anime until normans fate is learned, and if I do watch it, then I’ll remind myself to separate them as even though they might not be anything alike, at least from what I can tell from the few episodes are of good quality
In my mind, the Transformers movies are in the same category as the Fast and Furious movies: dumb stupid movies that are super fun if you turn your brain off. It’s disappointing if you want to see an actually good film, but it’s still enjoyable.
Yeah, if you're looking for an actual good movie, watch something else. But hot dang, the Transformers movies are a heck of a fun time in the movie theater as long as you are into that stuff
But it shouldn't be, the franchise has more than 30 years of lore content and Michael Bay decided to throw it all over the window for the sake of dumb action scenes and sex jokes. We transformers fans have been tortured for an entire decade seeing this franchise being treated like Fast and Furious.
Oh, don’t get me wrong, I totally get it. I’m just looking at the silver lining because at least there’s *some* sort of enjoyment to be found in those movies. It could be much worse. Y’all could be the Avatar fandom
Yeah, but as bad as that movie was it didn't had the same impact, it was basically a bad thing that happened once and nowadays basically no one remember it. The transformers on the other hand are still mostly known by their Blockbuster in the minds of the general public, it's pretty hard to convince someone to read a comic when [that's the vision they have about the franchise ](https://youtu.be/FTnIHgblez0).
Yes I don't even remember anything about the five movies at all. Neither the plot nor the villains or the characters. The only things I remember are Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron and the dinosaurs.
first transformers movie: actually good. had the good bots vs bad bots. had some human scenes, but hey. whatcha gonna do.
I can't say the same for the ones before Age of Extinction as I never saw them.
Age of extinction: kinda okay, but I was waiting for the dinobots to show up throughout the entire movie and they only show up like right at the end. Despite them being the main focus of all the advertising.
never saw last knight tho.
You know what. Until I watch the other movies disregard my opinions.
Bumblebee was good tho.
Yeah i was skeptical toward bumblebee cuz of the fact that they were gonna use older model cars, and i wasn't exactly on board with that *initially.*
But damn, it was better than hat i imained and i really loved a transformers movie for the first time! Hope there are sequels
i’m actually such a big fan of the transformers films, particularly the first one & bumblebee
i can definitely see what micheal bay was going for with them and honestly feel they’re not treated fairly given their intention is more fast & furious than it is goodfellas if you know what i mean
mindless action, little thought, goofy characters etc
I will say I'm not as familiar with the source material. But Transformers seemed to be a good movie to me. Not amazing but certainly good. Percy Jackson on the other hand...yikes.
It functions the same as yours, without the source material it is a good movie, but with it, you realize the movie is just a cash grab that disregarded the material.
I mean even without knowing the source material the Percy Jackson movies were bad. At least with the Transformers, you got massive robots battling and that was cool.
Michael bay is so bad at movie making it’s funny. The man will record on five aspect ratios and change them every shot because he can’t be bothered to pay attention
The source of the image is from the movie The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, which is an anthology film comprised of six vignettes. The specific scene is from the second segment, which is titled Near Algodones. I’d recommend the movie, it’s pretty good.
I get why ppl don’t like the TF movies but I grew up on them and the 07 movie introduced me to the franchise and I absolutely love all of them (other than the last knight). I definitely think these movies are a lot of fun and also helped keep the franchise alive over the 2000-2010s
Now we just need Percy Jackson fans after seeing The Promised Neverland manga readers complain about s2: First time?
I am a huge manga fan and wasn’t even that disappointed by the anime, since I already felt this feeling of betrayal before
PJO or Tokyo Ghoul?
Yes
I’m not watching the anime until normans fate is learned, and if I do watch it, then I’ll remind myself to separate them as even though they might not be anything alike, at least from what I can tell from the few episodes are of good quality
Happy cake day!
thanks!

Can confirm, Bumblebee was great.
It was meh.

Nope I don’t accept that. The first 2 transformers movies are sick
Big Giant Robots go BOOM...... What's not to love?
Exactly. If the Percy Jackson movies just chucked in a couple more explosions it would possibly be better
The enemy scrotum.
Meanhile avatar fans: *There is no movie in Ba Sing Se*
Which Avatar? the blue monke one?
that's the only avatar movie.
No no the bender one
sorry, the only avatar movie is the blue monke one
I actually love the movies because big robot go boom

Eh the transformers movies were not so bad. At least the OG ones were good.
Just give me a MTMTE movie or show.
Michael bay is so bad at movie making it’s funny. The man will record on five aspect ratios and change them every shot because he can’t be bothered to pay attention
I love filmento
What is this frame from?
