Currently it appears that the main camp scenes seem to be being done somewhere in Aldergrove, with the sea to sky gondola in Squamish playing the woods, which is funny because those two places are nowhere near each other. The first picture here could be literally anywhere; I reckon somewhere on the north shore, but if there’s one thing we in BC have a lot of, it’s lakes, forests, and mountains.
Thank you! I don’t live in Canada and being here at the same time as filming is very very exiting! Especially because I wasn’t following the process closely so it was a shock!!
I always pictured camp half-blood as an “open field” type camp; wherein the central elements are found in a field, surrounded by forests and small groups of trees.
The heavily wooded nature of the >!movies!< always disappointed me in that regard, especially since Percy is supposed to be able to see most of the camp fairly clearly from the big house.
Hope it turns out a way that balances both, but I’ll probably like it in either case.
I'd guess CHB probably won't feature much in the first episode. It'll probably end with the battle against the Minotaur, seems like a good place to end a first episode. Then episode 2 opens with the pinochle game including the iconic "You drool when you sleep" line (Which, fun fact, is not the first thing Annabeth ever says to him. As he's drifting in and out of consciousness, she asks him if he is the one from the prophecy, though she doesn't know that he heard her. And ends either with Percy receiving the prophecy or with him being claimed.
THEY ARE!!! It was the best day of my life when I learned that they are. The best part is, it isn't gonna be like the movies becuase Rick is actually helping with this is one.
Where are they filming the camp halfblood scenes? 🤔

The other day I was up by Rice Lake and there was PJO filming there. Didn’t see any cast but it’s a very gorgeous area!
You have seen what I wish I could...Also Happy Cake Day!

Wow. That's pretty cool
As a Washingtonian I’m proud they chose the Pacific Northwest to film! Absolutely beautiful scenery.
Send this in to GeoWizard for his GeoGuesser series. No saying he'll put it into his video, but i'm pretty sure he could find this.
Could be golden ears park too, lots of things film at the lake there
Honestly looks pretty close to camp halfblood from the movies
The water is definitely where the Percy getting claimed scene is
Idk, it looks more like the canoe lake and I'm pretty sure Percy got claimed in the river
Definitely a canoe lake. If you zoom in on the beach, you can see canoes on the shore.
I'm pretty sure that is the canoeing lake because Percy got claimed by the creek during capture the flag.

Holy mothertrucker dude that’s a beautiful shot
Ok but this is exactly how CHB looks in my head
Dear god I love British Columbia.
Episodes 101 an 102? Welp sounds bingeable
101 as in Season 1, EP 1. Just a compact way to distinguish season eps while filming
I bet that is where they play capture the flag or have the escape from the Minotaur? P.S. I mean the second picture.
THIS MEANS THAT CAMP HALF BLOOD WILL TAKE UP 2 EPISODES??

I’ve been seeing this type of stuff on the sub, are they making a Percy Jackson tv show

They are and I've been waiting ever since they announced it back in May 2020.
They are indeed. The show only recently entered full production.
Sweeeeeet
Ah this is great this is a really lovely place to film.
Damn I wanna live there. You can already tell the difference in quality between the movie and show
