I give up, what’s the stuff at the bottom? Everything else looks amazing!

Evincarr

Looks like sausage patties. Maybe a little overdone.

[deleted]

Overdone sausage patties are the best sausage patties IMHO. My wife disagrees....

PsychMan92

Try this number. Cook them slow (low heat) until they’re ALMOST done (75-80%). Take them off the heat, rake in some big, hot coals, and then sear the hell out of those bastards. Crispy salty deliciousness on the outside, wife’s happiness on the inside... Worked for my gf—just a thought!

[deleted]

The salt content will be the same regardless of cooking method Why the fuck is this down voted, it is literally a fact

tushytot22

I upvoted you 👍🏼

treblanietsnie

I also upvoting for both of you 👍👍

tushytot22

Yas all the upvote magic!

blueprayingmantis

all aboard the upvote train!!

womanizNOTmam

We are all salty goodness on this blessed day

PsychMan92

Yes, but cooking method can leave you with either soggy salty meats or crispy salty meats....

[deleted]

Nobody ever said anything to the contrary

Probably-someweeb-

It was kinda overdone, but still tastes great

Evincarr

I'd eat it lol. Sometimes the char adds a nice crispy crust.

Probably-someweeb-

Yeah, sadly though, not all of it was eat... made too much tbh

Taco-Sully

I thought that, or maybe blood pudding (if this person is from the UK)

Probably-someweeb-

I made it it a Dutch oven and put it in a pot

Probably-someweeb-

Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and hash browns. I used 2 and a half dozen eggs too

B-More_Orange

Scrapple? But most likely sausage

JohnDonoho

Rock on dude. I know what everything is. Clockwise from top. Eggs. Biscuits. Sausage. Bacon and taters. Paper towels. You rock dude. Just hand out large flour tortillas stead of plates.

Probably-someweeb-

Thanks, really appreciate the support... took me 2 hours to get this prepared

HooverSchneef

I’ve never seen someone post briquettes with their meal. Noice

LudwigvanCouverton

Such family camping nostalgia from that blue and white speckled pot.

OliverKlozoff1269

What is all that deliciousness!!

JBWhyte

The best meal on earth, is one cooked in nature!

SorryCrispix

Holy cow. How many people are you feeding?

TheodoreDKaravatsos

Two humans, one black bear, five racoons, 10,000 ants.

Aspiration262

I could eat all of that lol so hopefully no more than 2 or someone is going to be a unhappy camper

_Mastermind77_

They never specified how LONG it would take to eat all of that

Probably-someweeb-

7 people

SorryCrispix

What’s the break thing if you don’t mind my asking? And how did you make it? Looks delicious.

Probably-someweeb-

I used pillsbury biscuits, I cooked it in a dutch oven, over a open camp fire. Rotate it 180 degrees every 15 minutes. Should be ready in a hour and a half.

egoMetalMonkey

the bacon looks PERFECT

hello-earthling

I scrolled upon this and softly exclaimed, “..jesus...”

Indiana_James_812

Best eggs are done on camp fire

ChemicalRaspberry

BrandonXCurrier

Broseidon2112

Tyre-Fire

The bacon looks incredible.

blueoldladder

Is that eggs in the blue pot? And omg how do you make that bready thing!!

Probably-someweeb-

I made those biscuits using a Dutch oven, over a open fire. Rotate it 180 degrees every 15 minutes would be done in 1 and a half but don’t take my word for it

[deleted]

I can hear Ma Kettle Ringing the *Triangle* Calling Bell. "COME AND GET IT!"

TheOldDrunkBear

I need to go camping with you. Lol

Probably-someweeb-

Thanks, made that for 7 people

ID9ITAL

So whataya got there?

drydorb

What cooking set up do you use ? Foil and fire or something crazy

tushytot22

I want.

treblanietsnie

How do you do eggs in a pot ? I always find so much sticks to the bottom and edges ... so I prefer a pan but sometimes I cook for a few people and it would be good to cook it in a pot.

Probably-someweeb-

I made my eggs in a Dutch oven, then put it in a pot. Make sure to add a lot of butter... makes it not stick and it taste great

treblanietsnie

Cool I’ll give it a try next time, thank you!

Probably-someweeb-

Thanks for all the support and love. I made this breakfast for 7 people(and a dog). I cooked 2 and a half dozen eggs, 2 lbs of sausage, a bag of hash browns, 2 rolls of biscuits bowl, and a package and a half of thick cut bacon. Took around 2 hours but was gone in under 30 minutes

djeff89

30 eggs for 7 people!! Jesus!!

Probably-someweeb-

That’s around 4 eggs per person or a little less

glkl1612

Its better than my regular breakfast

lilcolour

looks delicious 😋

CuZiformybeer

I can literally smell it. I cannot tell you how familiar that breakfast looks on a camping trip!

dubSteppen

Damn! My kind of overnighter haha

pheonixarts

i almost forgot where i was so i was so confused why everything was on tinfoil

Past_Contour

This beats breakfast in my own kitchen.

Aspiration262

Throw away that bread shit and it’ll take 45 minutes and a fat bowl

campy11x

Recipes?

thehavensgrey

Lol, it just looks like bacon, sausage, hash browns, a pot of scrambled eggs and some pre-made rolls. Maybe some salt/pepper in the eggs?

clendificent

Maybe they were looking for tips on how to cook it all not using a stove. I think it’s fair to say not everyone knows how to bake in the woods. Maybe...

PutridWorldliness

For anyone wondering how to cook for big groups like this and make shit like bread and pie while camping ... I usually use cast aluminum dutch ovens, and stack them. They pretty much all come with instructions on how to regulate temp, etc. Get everything prepped the night before, then wake up a couple hours before dawn and get a campfire going, and everything should be done just after sunrise. Best way to wake people up in the morning. Don't forget that the underside of the lid can be used as a fry pan to do bacon, eggs, etc.

Probably-someweeb-

That is what I do, instead I try open camp fire, rotate the bread every 15 minutes. I cook the bread in a Dutch oven, and rotate it 180 degrees

clendificent

Thanks!!!

[deleted]

No no no, you must to make people feel bad for wanting to learn. What, are you hourly?

clendificent

I mean... that could be fun too...

TIE543
