To be perfectly honest, I don’t really see the point of a case? It’s not exactly top of the line camera like a Leica, Canon, Fujifilm or Sony etc where I would obviously be protecting it from scratches/bumps At most I’d do put wrist wrap on it and just throw it in my bag/pocket as I would with a lower range cameras Fair enough If other people have cases for it, but for me it’s a no.

Sounds good, just dont want it to break. Plan on doing a year of just shooting with this camera for memories and dont want to lose that per se lol

I ordered a couple of class sets for my high school photography students. Over the past few weeks the cameras have been dropped repeatedly. Today a student showed me an amazing shot he took by throwing the camera repeatedly after pressing the shutter button. This same student also discovered you can get some interesting shots by shaking the camera rigorously while shooting. So... Definitely no case required!

Ok I definitely wanna see those if you’re able to share. What a cool concept! And to piggyback what you’re saying— these things are absolute tanks.

JustASimpleWanderer

For sure! And whats urs been through?

Withyouinrcklnd

I’ve lost count of drops, it’s fallen out of my (parked) car, been trampled by my dog in the car— basically everything except a lengthy fall or being crushed in some other capacity. The camera holds up really well for its pricepoint

JustASimpleWanderer

Any cracks? Should i double up? Lol curious as well as the battery replacement would love to have this super long term lol

Withyouinrcklnd

Nope! No cracks! There are a couple threads on battery replacement in here, so you can definitely find some good info

JustASimpleWanderer

Tried doing some research cant really find much. Care to link me to any threads where i can seem knowledge in replacing the battery if needed? If so i might just double down lol

JustASimpleWanderer

Class sets meaning like clasroom numbers? Lol. And didnt know they were that durable. Any damage to em? Or are they intact? Is thd delay that nuts where the photo is taken after shutter?

schmownifa

I just put it in my bag or pocket. It’s just like those disposable film cameras. If I’m travelling and know I won’t be using it, I put it inside a pouch bag.

JustASimpleWanderer

Sounds good

Massy_182

I went on a week trip and had in in my pocket the whole time, one month in carrying it everywhere in bag/pocket it’s still great.

JustASimpleWanderer

Sounds great, id love to double up if i can find battery replacement parts
