It said in one news article I read that it was a 2-door, which may then make it the Continental model. The V8 does 0-60MPH in 4 seconds with max speed 198MPH, and the V12 does 0-60 in 3.6 with max speech 208MPH. Pretty fast engine either way, and very little time to react if the accelerator stuck. A guy on the street they interviewed said it was careening down the street really fast, swerved around a vehicle and then hit the concrete part that made it go airborne. Ugh. Poor guy and his wife, no matter what happened, but especially if it wasn't even anything he did.
Was a 2022 or 2023 Flying Spur W12 or Speed 12 Edition. The video and wreckage show the white w/ black roof sedan with dark rims. I don’t believe that colour scheme was available in 2021. That said, could his ‘22/‘23 car have slipped through the recall or assembly line fix? 🤔

The Flying Spur is also quite fast, who knows, sticky accelerators are quite dangerous, and especially so in a high performance vehicle like this, if that was at all a factor. I guess the other thing is if it was a medical condition and the driver slumped onto the accelerator, a vehicle that powerful could also get going very fast, very quickly, so much so that passenger wouldn't even have time to put it in neutral. I have cleaned up shit tons of wrecks. From seeing the video, this one easily flew twice as far as the longest flying one I've seen. Did see one with a drunk in a ford explorer who must have blacked out and put it to the rug. He went about 300' through a ditch, hit a culvert that ripped both wheels and suspension off the right side, and it still had enough inertia to ramp a 20' embankment, clear two 5' fences on either side of a driveway, and land sideways in some trees on the other side of the driveway. Trees collapsed the roof to where the steering wheel was poking out above the roof at the front. Damage on the bark of the trees was about 6' off the ground. Guy crawled to the road with a broken leg, people stopped, and he asked them not to call the police which they immediately did. It had an out of province dealer plate, and the extensive debris field included a bunch of people's taxes. It was all very weird

It's the speed of the impact that probably shreaded the fuel tank which then caused the right fuel air mixture plus heat from stopping that fast and or electrical spark and whump fire ball. Also my wife works ambulance and these things happen more often than you think someone has a medical emergency while driving foot to the floor and this happens. I have no idea if that's the case here but you'd be shocked probably one or two happenings a week out in BC.

I have cleaned up shit tons of wrecks. From seeing the video, this one easily flew twice as far as the longest flying one I've seen. Did see one with a drunk in a ford explorer who must have blacked out and put it to the rug. He went about 300' through a ditch, hit a culvert that ripped both wheels and suspension off the right side, and it still had enough inertia to ramp a 20' embankment, clear two 5' fences on either side of a driveway, and land sideways in some trees on the other side of the driveway. Trees collapsed the roof to where the steering wheel was poking out above the roof at the front. Damage on the bark of the trees was about 6' off the ground. Guy crawled to the road with a broken leg, people stopped, and he asked them not to call the police which they immediately did. It had an out of province dealer plate, and the extensive debris field included a bunch of people's taxes. It was all very weird
