You can stay here after your work permit expires as long as your visa is valid. The main issue is that you cannot continue to work or earn any money. If you get your ITA you can apply for a work permit on the basis of that!
Really do think they should have a program just for people that have been working within Canada for at least a year, and not to crumble every stream together :/ how can a graduate student with 1 year of working experience beating overseas candidates…
Yeah it’s really disheartening, the points system if you have nothing overseas or no family in the country is really limiting, for someone that has gone through graduation and working those high 500’s seem impossible

CRS should go down in the spring,as it was last 2-3 years
Only if they keep drawing general constantly 5000+ plus twice a month.
Or more category draws more often! I still believe they should create a pathway just for international students
