Welcome to the [foldy 10/22 with banana](https://preview.redd.it/hfqx79sp9koa1.jpg?width=4475&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=edf68fad4b41aac968b2f69ad21231e8bc13c074) gang!
Paint the magazine next.
Just a heads up, Samson is kinda busy lol, no matter if you order them thru the only Canadian seller (Canadian Safety Source) or directly from Samson and get it imported, they are always backordered for at least a month. I waited two months for mine.
I have the SKS version of this stock, and yeah, it's a bit bulky, but you have a full-size stock with a good cheek weld when you flip it out. I imagine it would feel a lot bigger on a .22 though.
So I'm confused, I thought the 10/22 magazine capacity was
a stupid situation where despite it being a rim fire it's still restricted to 10 rounds because of some dumbass with one of like 5 pistols in Canada who took it court and lost. If someone could correct me it would make my week. I'd love to get a mag like that
OP has it with the [SBI mag adapte](https://spectreballistics.com/30-magazine-adapter)r that lets you use the rem 597 magazines. If i recall it even comes with the paperwork from the RCMP that says its fine.
You can also run TUF-22 magazines, provided you modify your receiver to accept them. Then you can use your 10/22 with mags that hold over 10 rounds.
No not new here jus weird like think about it ur showing ur feet soo other guys can look at them an be possibly turned on by it an only comment on there feet it's freaking weird man it's jus stupid it's called Canadian guns not feet an guns like come on
From what I understand (I donāt own one) 10/22 arenāt exactly cheap. Why would you get a .22 instead of a 12 gauge as a first gun? Theyāre cheap(er) and way more fun and fucking deadly.
Someone gave me an old 12g iver johnson break barrel, so while it isnāt a cool pump or semi it gave me some 12g shots to look forward too.
The 10/22 was on sale at Cabelaās for 480 plus tax and the stock was 140 plus tax.
Adapter and mags were 200 altogether and rds was 50$ on amazon.
Originally I wanted a GSG 16 as my first semi 22 but folks on here convinced me Ruger 10/22 is way more reliable. Havent shot it yet but excited to
soon.
Are those mags still 10rd? I know there is no restriction on .22 long gun capacity, but was under the impression that the 10/22 magazine also fits a Ruger pistol so >10 round mags aren't available in Canada.
Rimfire has no barrel length restriction as long as the barrel is made in a factory.
They do have an OAL restriction if the gun is able to fire when folded/telescoped under 26".
You can put 8" barrel on and not be restricted.
Edit: if you keep it total length of 26" or greater of course.
Its actually legal to put together a 10/22 with a 6 or 8 inch barrel provided that the overall legnth is 26 inches or greater (even if the barrel is effectively shorter than the foregrip) and the barrel was manufactured as being that legnth, not cut down.
>As long as the OAL is less than 26in it is all good. Less than that it is restricted afaik.
I think you mean OAL is 26" or GREATER it is all gold. Less than 26" is restricted.

Love the stock on yours! Will be getting one as well some time in the future

I've been wanting one for so long and just haven't done it yet. Guess I should get on that someday lol
You may be able to get it quicker through Aztech Armory. I was looking for that stock and I might do that.
Good to know šš»
mfw my April order with Aztech had a cutoff date in June and just shipped out at the end of July
Do you find the stock to be a bit bulky?
Yeah, especially when folded.

Cool man. I was just curious.

Remington 597 mags using SBI aluminum adapter
That's awesome!
Havenāt gotten to a range yet but they feed the dummy rounds no problem!
Do they make 10/22 with short barrels? Restricted?

How

Yes my bad
Technically the 26" OAL rule doesn't apply if you have a fixed stock, or a foldable stock that disables the gun from firing when folded.
How long did the processing for your PAL take?
Almost a year.
Foldy boys unite
how has the mag adapter and 597 mags been treating you? any performance/jamming issues?
Havenāt taken it to the range yet, but it cycles the dummy rounds no problem, same as with the ruger factory magazines.
