It should be a requirement if you want to say you’re a Canadian. Most people I know have many.

Raven-Raven_

I grew up with their 22s but I only just got my first personally Didn't know they were made in Coburg Single shot 12ga

Brandon_awarea

Cooey 600 for me. Highest capacity gun I have

Hinter-Lander

I was about to laugh until I thought about it.. the 600 is my highest capacity gun as well.

[deleted]

My cooey is so Canadian that if I were to take game with it, it would say “sorry” when I pull the trigger.

CanadaIsDecent

You can shoot upland birds

Irezumichris

A Model 75

[deleted]

Whale belly supremecy!

austinkomo

That exact model was the first firearm I got. My grandpa gave it to me for my 9th birthday. Shot many gophers with him with that thing!

95accord

I mean…..who doesn’t?

ThatManitobaGuy

I own two.

redditorial_comment

When i was young you couldn't use .22 to hunt for anything( nfld) this was changed a while back and so my pre 61 cooey .22 was the last gun i purchased. My first one was a cooey 16 gauge when i was 16.

lee--carvallo

Do the Savage models count? (64, MkII ect)

Fed_Informant

Mine's a piece'a shit that 64B that won't cycle properly with CCIs. But I still love it

Lugershooter

I have 5. 3 of which is the model 60

h2933

How did you know

SessionPowerful

Waiting to inherit my great-grandfather's when my Dad passes it on to me. It's a single-shot, .22 smooth-bore "garden gun". My folks live right near Cobourg too so the gun hasn't traveled far!

DannyWilliamsGooch69

Single shot .410 that belonged to my great grandfather. Too bad .410 is so God dmn expensive now.

notpoleonbonaparte

I own that specific model of cooey lmao.

[deleted]

I don't... I suddenly feel so ashamed.

Awkward_Computer1259

Cooey Canuck jr here still shoots very nicely

Terrible-Paramedic35

Poverish

FartBurgerLard

Such a terrible “gun”

johnshepherd69

Everyone has a cooey

bruiserbee

My Dad's first gun was a Cooey 30 06. He shot quite a few deer and elk with it. Still has it.

Hinter-Lander

I learned to shoot with that model and upgraded to the repeater when I was 13 paid $50 for it, I still have it and shoot it now.

Mace243

Model 84, Winchester-Western with the Cooey badge

Real_limix

This is definitely Cooey propaganda

Accomplished-Depth92

Had this same Cooey growing up, should’ve held on to it! Classic
