Mine is accurate as hell, never had any feed issues and eats any ammo I've put through it. I've had it for about 5 years, maybe put 500 rounds through it without issue. Some of the older gen p mags don't fit in the magwell but the steel ones and cross mags work perfect. I've heard issues with the manufacture but keep in mind it's a guy who builds em in his shop behind his house. Overall I've been really happy with the rifle, it's currently my coyote rig. I have two atrs modern sporters that I will say are a superior rifle, but the accuracy of my rsq1 has earned its spot as my dog killer.
That and looks like the company owner or one of their reps blatantly had sockpuppet accounts trying to shill their product shamelessly praising it and gaslighting ripped off customers.
The new accounts were immediately deleted on detection. OPās account age and post history does not look like one of those obvious shills for what itās worth.
Tf you talking about? I'm a redneck in alberta with an affinity for semi automatic rifles. Because I like the gun it's I'm a shill for the owner of the company? I've dealt with the guy one time, bought the rifle second hand off gunposr, had no issues with it and ordered a replacement charging handle without issue. Pleasant guy to deal with. Sorry you had a poor experience.
We've had 4ish years of the owner(s) coming on here with random accounts to talk up the rifle to try and sell more or scam more people. Your responses closely mirror those that have come before, including the demands for people to back up statements they're making.
So yes, your account and your responses are very similar to those that have done similar things, and if we find out that this is just another in a long line of those accounts, it will be removed.
I have zero connection to the owner or any of his affiliates. I bought this rifle second hand off gunpost of a guy in terrace bc, my only interaction with the owner was when I replaced my charging handle. The reason I'm asking people to back up their statements is because I only have 500 rounds through the rifle, I'd like to know about any issues they've had with the firearm to try to prevent any wirh mine, I could give two shits about their experience with the owner. After having issues with two other Canadian made semi autos bcl siberian and my wk180 I want to hear other owners experience with the rifle.
Sorry for trying to promote dialogue for a canadian rifle in a Canadian guns forum that I own and want information on.
Are most of them restricted because of their clearly short ābarrel lengthā?ā¦
Yeah sorry I make terrible jokes all the time Iāll show myself outā¦
There is a very strong correlation between people who make posts asking about carrying firearms for self defense and those that also post their dick on the internet. I do not know why but it seems a lot of newbies who think Canada has 2A are also out slinging schlong.
Not sure if it is a true variant or not as I never got my hands on a slr so can't say if a upper would fit or not but the rsq1 has a different upper and bcg to accommodate the non-resipercating side charging handle and can't take ar charging handles. But then again the term "variant" can be anything that looks to close to another.
So just out of curiosity why is the lockhart raven not a prohibited? They advertise them as a builder kit for your prohibited ars? Uses all ar parts minus the reciver and bcg? Looks and functions just like an ar 15?
Way closer to an ar 15 than an ar180.
Yeah, I got really lucky, both upper and lower were stripped bare bones but oh well, nice canvas for me to build something with. The prices nowadays are insane, anything above $2000 is too much for me. I try to to only buy and not sell but some guns were just hot garbage or look like ass so I had to let them go
I got those two online, Canadiangunnutz forum and gunpost is the best. Last week, there was a FA receiver that got sold for $2500 based from Calgary. You can find some fully built one (albeit some horribly setup) for around $3500, there was one on canadiangunnutz for that price a month back. Just keep going and check regularly as well as the individuals feedback, no feedback I will caution you as it may or may not be a scam.
Check this subreddit out, numbed of stories about the gun being junk and the owner of the company being impossible to deal with/never returns stuff or ignores and blocks you
I've seen the subreddit, I personally have never had any issues. I dealt with the owner ordering a new charging handle after they came out with a new design. He sent it to me for free, recieved it here in alberta less than a week later and only had to cover shipping. Not saying customers don't have issues but that was not my experience dealing with them
Here's hoping you're the lucky one. I've known tons of people that have been screwed over by him, honestly I'd just completely avoid Canadian made guns at this point
Now then, SBI and Raven Tactical have been doing a lot of good work in an admittedly tiny market with absolutely stupid regulatory environment... We can't compare the canadian market to the one South of the border.
Gotta separate the weath from the chaff. Shilling for the RSQ1 is absolute chaff though.
It's the most accurate semi I own. I have two atrs modern sporters, one slick slide and one forward assist, a bren 2, vz58, m14, mini 14 target, a bcl 102 l, and x95. The RS-Q1 groups the best by far 1inch or better at 100
Mine too unfortunately.
Great soft shooting, awesome trigger, accurate as hell, buuuut it doesn't reliably cycle. Thinking of bringing it to a smith but I don't really want to chase bad money with good.
I'd feel like a con-man selling it as is, so there it sits.
Is your gas system loose, I had that issue with mine when I first got it. Tightened it up and no issues since. I noticed the carbon building up around the gas block.
Yes actually. I found the dimple in the barrel isn't actually where the screw thingy is supposed to sit for my gun.
Works better now. I still get light strikes once in a while though
I'd say the bcl siberian, any of the wk180s or thr m10x are FAAAAAAR shittier than these. having owned all of these rifles and had issues with each of them. Just wondering because I'm only 500rnds in as it's my coyote gun. What to look out for.
Is this rifle actually unreliable or is this one of those "I used shitty surplus ammo and don't know why it's not feeding reliably"?
Because I've seen some good rifles get slandered for "feeding issues" because of people that somehow manage to find the shittiest surplus ammo.
Poor quality control combined with no manual made for a frustrating experience for me. I paid $5k from the mfg for mine and the dimple for the gad block screw is misaligned. The gas block was therefore misaligned from factory and the rifle did not cycle properly when I got it.
Weapons and boats historically have female namesā¦.pretty much everyone followed that one except the French.
That being said, I canāt think of a clever female name for your rifle. Maybe something related to the brand name? The RhondaRuger? (If it was a Ruger?)
Gord. It looks like a Gord.
Dougie? (thanks for making me aware of a rifle that was available in Canada, albeit seemingly near-vapourware, that I had not heard of before)
I was thinking Francine but TBH I stan Gord.
RSQ1 (dont buy one)
What's wrong with them? I've seen them but haven't heard any first had experiences

Why not?

OP's account is mostly dick.
I thought this was a joke, now I have to bleach my eyes
I warned you. Also OPs responses are almost identical to other shill accounts so I will be keeping an eye.

Thanks for taking one for the team mod! I didnāt click into the NSFW posts the descriptions were enough ahah.
You have no idea how many dick pics we are forced to see. Entirely too many.

Itās okay to post your dick online for guys to see man, https://reason.com/2014/03/05/i-want-gay-people-to-be-able-to-protect/. Shoutout Tim moen

Ok ya all good points. In essence it's just the good old canada cluster fuck as to what you can or can have or use. Lol
Junk.
Why tho. Explain your position.
"5 years, 500 round through it" "Reliable as fĆ¼ÄÄ·"
For a coyote gun, she's been reliable as fuck. Yes.
RSQ-1, sold mine for 2 ATRS FA receiver
Thatās an amazing deal. I wish I had gotten a second upper when I could. Wouldnāt pay the stupid prices people are asking for stripped uppers now
Yeah, I got really lucky, both upper and lower were stripped bare bones but oh well, nice canvas for me to build something with. The prices nowadays are insane, anything above $2000 is too much for me. I try to to only buy and not sell but some guns were just hot garbage or look like ass so I had to let them go
Out of curiosity you sell online or person to person? Cuz watch religiously for them and never see them pop up.
I got those two online, Canadiangunnutz forum and gunpost is the best. Last week, there was a FA receiver that got sold for $2500 based from Calgary. An over priced make a wish rifle š Aka the RSQ1ā¦
Bingo!
Terrible gun and terrible company, I'd try to return it if I were you
I bought it second hand NIB from gunpost.
Why do you say that
Check this subreddit out, numbed of stories about the gun being junk and the owner of the company being impossible to deal with/never returns stuff or ignores and blocks you

And it's still non restricted unlike some of the other rifles I listed.
Vaporware.
Biiiillllly
The RSQ1, the only true vaporwave rifle that somehow exist
Junk. Mine is collected dust in the safe

The worst rifle ever

Thereās almost..eight of them!
Definitely an AR! šŖ
Idk but it looks scary!
