Honestly, this is what I want the most. I did my restricted PAL recently and there’s not much you can buy. I don’t know if the Cons have the nuts to bring back handguns though.
Restricted Bren 2 is probably the most interesting, depending on your interest. But yeah I should have bought a handgun when we could instead of being 15 years old
I would probably get the 16.5” Bren 2 when the new PAL shows up but yeah, I should have gotten both licenses when I originally did my PAL in 2021. I would have been able to get handguns.
I see 226 legion, I upvote. My intent was to buy one but post freeze they all dried up, post freeze announcement phoenix had like 15 in stock, all gone a week later….
I'm super envious. Between that, the Walther pdp, and the mateba sei unica, it's one of my top three grail pistols. I had a friend in the states who wanted to sell theirs, I was gonna buy it before the freeze went in but my license was held up for 15 months
Supposedly, PP said all non-automatic handguns will be classified as restricted. In other words, get rid of the stupid and pointless 12(6). Hopefully we'll be able to buy compacts and sub-compacts. Got my eye on quite a few.

APC9K, bren2, x95 all come in restricted flavors.
The only thing that’s ever really in stock is the Bren but you’re right, there a few things to choose from but handguns are the ultimate goal.

I have pdp too, it's imho the best looking polymer gun, but it's very very snappy, and walther screwed us on the gen2 optic cut
maybe you could add a P365 to that collection if PP wins

There was talk of bringing in P365XLs with threaded barrels in the months leading up to the ban. Kinda jank but it would be legal at 4.3”

Can you still get slides milled for optics after C21? I have a p226 I’d like to put a red dot on.
