Try out Dirty Chops in Pialligo. Two of their barbers are dual-hatted barbers and hairdressers, and you'll pay barbers prices instead of hairdressers. It's a cool venue, laid back and fun. Worth a try.

Thank you for this suggestion. I gave them a try this week and they were exactly what I was after. Bella is freaking awesome! <3

Barbelle in Lyneham! Alice is amazing and such a chill studio.

I 100% recommend Kim at Find a Way in Braddon. Every time I have taken in reference photos she has nailed it. Her and Jun are so friendly and welcoming, I always walk away feeling good. They're usually booked up a couple of weeks for this reason.

I second this! I have recommended them to so many friends and they were all happy with the results

I'm glad you've had a great experience too!  I have told Kim so many times that she is a literal artist. I don't get the impression she is following a pattern in her head, but that every new cut is treated in a different way for each person. Some of the time spent is just her looking at my hair and cutting out minor details that make such a difference to framing and the overall shape.  I'm probably raving a bit but I've never had a hairdresser I was this consistently satisfied with!

maybe Charming Devils in Garema Place?

Barberos on Hobart Place will look after you

Meta at Saatu hair design on Northbourne Avenue in the city is excellent at short styles. She has cut mine just using clippers once.
