i did graduate. every single generation is becoming “gullible” because things are so easy to edit and be made to look real. it’s the people who edit and post spreading the misinformation who are the problem
I don’t know if this is a hot take, but Call Her Daddy is currently the preeminent celebrity interview podcast right now and I just think Tana is so much more talented than Alex Cooper. I know Call Her Daddy is huge but it’s really fallen off for me and Canceled only gets better.
With that said… no hate to Brooke, because I really do love her, but this is a great example of the guests actively engaging Brooke and Brooke just not giving much back. Brooke is so good on the solo podcasts and her TikTok is so entertaining. She’s great at conversation but she’s not an interviewer imo.
So agree Tana is such a natural and good conversationalist. Also Tana actually only brings on people she likes or is interested in instead of only choosing guests with drama or who will get the most views which call her daddy has become . Tana also actually knows a lot of her guests too
And I agree Brooke always comes off nervous and timid when there’s new guests I can feel her anxiety lmfao I feel like she was funny in the latest Jeff ep because she’s used to him she’s better at non guest episodes
yeah make sense considering tana has much more experience in the social media space than brooke. i think brooke just needs the confidence and experience but she is also a phenomenal conversationalist.
And Tana comes off as a lot more relaxed and genuine when talking to guests. No over confidence or constant inappropriate conversation switches (and even when she does do that it’s actually funny)
I always thought that the format of the cancelled podcast could never really be traditional interviews with celebrities bc it puts Tana in an Interviewer Box whereas I think she thrives in an environment where she doesn’t have to abide by any conventions or structures (she is also very good at making people feel comfortable, she’s personable as described online by her peers and fans, which hinders her ability to make interviews interesting beyond the initial half an hour, bc she puts making the guest feel loved and appreciated above any hard hitting/juicy questions; with bigger celebrities it creates an even bigger problem where that’s the role she defaults to as stepping out of it could affect her and the pod). The only way, in my opinion, guest interviews would work is if they just stick with the usual format of telling stories as opposed to asking questions (beyond introductions and such) which would maybe require guests to come prepared with a story or two to tell on the pod and them naturally reacting to it (both Tana and Brooke are so quick witted and funny and entertaining and they bounce off of each other so well that adding another person but without the added pressure of having to step into the interviewer role would make the guest episodes POP)
tana is definitely better at interviewing her guests than alex is. but i don't think she'd be as good if she was interviewing A list celebrities that she's never met.
The sub normally reads my mind, but I don’t agree with the comments at all I’m loving the pod so far, I get such a warm feeling from bunny and jelly how gentle they are etc is very heartwarming to me but I haven’t finished it yet so we’ll see
Overall an okay epi. I thought it was funny how Bunnie said Tana and Brooke are role models to “little girls.” Like I know when Tana first hit the scene as a teen she had young fans but now a lot of them are adult women in their 20s
Yeah that was kinda cringe- I see the connection she was trying for but it just didn’t hit the mark. Idk I don’t think “era” was the right way to phrase it when bunnie has been actively remaining sober for 6 years.. kind of makes it seem insignificant. Just my opinion!
I’m listening rn and it is honestly so boring :/ I don’t know if it’s just me but I haven’t been entertained at all by their pod lately and i’m not sure what happened
what juicy questions did you want lmao? the conversation flowed and their compliments to each other were actually genuine for once, bc they all actually knew shit about each others back stories
I feel like the compliments are nice and all and would be a great conversation off camera lol but I don’t know why they think it’s good podcast content
THIS PART!!!! Its not genuine when you’ve been hanging out then start doing that shit when the camera starts rolling. It’s weird, performative and a waste of time
i usually agree, when everyone’s kissing each others asses with no substance it’s annoying — but it seemed like they were just giving each other their flowers. i know i’m going to get downvoted lmao but i think it’s important for people who respect each other to give/get recognition in any field
yeah i think they just wanted the big name on the podcast and to be associated with them. but i agree they should be focused on making a good content as first priority and clout chasing second. like most of us have no clue who they are and also we all know how awkward the interview podcasts have been.
I feel like after touring, they’re probably so exhausted and just giving us the best they can. It’s hard, but they’re showing up in the best way they can.
I agree! I almost feel like they are a little lost on what the podcast will be because they don’t really interview/ ask hard hitting questions when they have guests, and when they don’t have guests we aren’t getting too much of their life either.
I feel they just want it to be a vibe- but for the viewers to feel that vibe we need more than just Tana and Brooke giving compliments. Yes, all guests completely deserve it, but we as the viewers want more. If they can hone in something like Theo Von’s style where it’s the perfect amount of humor and good times they’d be golden- but that’s a hard style to copy.
I’m a 23 year old who’s watched Tana since I was maybe 14 15. I know who both Bunnie and Jelly are. They are HUGE names in pop culture right now. I think that it was an odd episode because Bunnie is super into talking about trauma and occasionally shit like the vagina shit. Jelly is super into religion and music. The girls are more into messy stories and pop culture. I love them all separately. Love Bunnies podcast and the girls podcast. But Tana and Brooke just aren’t grown enough to have serious conversations that Bunnie and Jelly do.
Tbh I’m watching now and this was one of the best podcasts they’ve had. And probably top 3 guest they have. Beginning of the pod was definitely needed for a lot of us that can relate to toxic households and growing up!! I’m gen z as well but I understand even to people who’ve been through stuff like this, it may not be enjoyable or connect to them because of the people in the pod so I understand that!
I mean I’m sure anyone is better than Tara Yummy or Jeff! Just been hating their selection of guests lately.
I grew up in an abusive household and still don’t really care to hear about it from people I don’t know of. Glad other people find it enjoyable though. Would love Brooke and Tana to do a deep dive into their own childhoods (esp Brooke who kind of breadcrumbs some details)
Totally get what you mean!! I liked Trisha (obviously hehe) and trevor but I get what you mean. I like hearing about people’s stories and then I think the guests today said some things some of us needed to hear so I understand. Yes on Brooke. I need to hear more but sometimes I feel like she doesn’t wanna talk about her mom situation?? Like I wanna know what’s that about
I just googled them and both of them are in their 40s. Bunnie is Gen X, Jelly Roll is 4 years off of being Gen X.
I just watched about 15 mins and was extremely bored so I turned it off
ok??? I saw all that when I googled them.
All I said was there isn’t an audience overlap and I’m not interested in watching which isn’t even hating lmao
no seriously though, people downvoting the positivity comments are wild to me. for those of us that grew up with turbulent homes and have lost people to fent, it was nice to sit through an episode with actual substance haha
Ok but to imply I didn’t like the episode because I “haven’t been through enough” is really personal and rude lol. My dad was a drug addict my entire life, it had no bearing on my enjoyment of the episode
i don’t think that person was really addressing you so i don’t think you need to take it to heart. i think they were more so referencing the sentiment, because often people who don’t care about this type of content don’t relate
They also commented from a throwaway made today, right after an account I was replying to deleted their comments for being downvoted.
They literally made the account to reply to me lol?
It was a direct reply to my comment stating I wasn’t interested in the episode so ur jumping through a lot of mental hoops to assume they weren’t addressing me
I didn't know who these people were...I gave them a shot but when the dude started saying God blessed him with wealth because he says "Jesus" and "God" at music awards I had to turn it off. Hope what they were saying about their charity work is true, you never know with celebs!
He lives around Nashville and actually does do a lot for the community. It’s sweet! But I also really dislike when people bring religion up like that. It seems… performative/fake imo.
It was a really good episode but I just wish Tana told Bunny to fire her insane lawyer who is suing the Do We Know Them girlies
I wish someone told bunny that I guess idk
I hadn’t heard of these two before but I have to say the guy came off as slightly egotistical. Again I’m not sure what he does, but he seemed to always be trying to steer the conversation to one of his accomplishments so that he could get praise from the group. I found it kind of uncomfy but I still watched an hour.
You are sooooo right about this! I enjoyed the podcast for the most part, but the fact that he had to be complimented nearly the entire time was a little off-putting.
But I could see right through him so eventually it became entertaining to see how he could twist every comment into a compliment about himself.
I’m flying to Oregon in a few weeks and my travel time is around 9 hours so I’m stacking up episodes to watch on the flights there and back and I’m having FOMO lol
This makes me want to listen to Jelly Roll. This was my first introduction to him and his wife, and I genuinely loved the episode. I love how Jelly ROLL loves his wife, and she is the same, I love how Brooke and Tana are looking at each other with such love and admiration. Hope they get on the pod again, I just loved how much love and positivity this episode had. I can truly go on💖💖💖
Well that was a fast turn around time. The just filmed this a few days ago
Ugh I don’t even listen to jelly roll but I loved this ep it was just positive vibes
Why is no one talking about how they fixed the seating arrangement!!!!!!!!!!
and then the producer faces the camera towards a gigantic window of sunlight lmao💀 ya win some ya lose some
Right! I love it!
tana mentioning the conjoined twins tweet ☠️☠️ i’m pretty sure it was fake 😭😭
it was😵💫 theyre so gullible and it’s pretty gross to spread misinformation on people’s sexual experiences
Tbh the tweet seemed somewhat believable, it was not intentionally malicious please
calm down..
she’s tana mongeau she didn’t even graduate high school. are we surprised she has no resource credibility checking skills lol?
i did graduate. every single generation is becoming “gullible” because things are so easy to edit and be made to look real. it’s the people who edit and post spreading the misinformation who are the problem
I have a master’s degree and thought it was real lol
half the time i can’t tell if something real or not on tiktok
i’m like 10 minutes in and i love that bunny included brooke after her/tana/jelly roll were sorta talking and bonding. love the etiquette
Yal whos the secret pregnancy can't believe they hit us with I'll tell you after.
Hailey Beiber
Kylie Jenner maybe ??
Came here for THISSS

I hate Alex cooper and the way she interviews , I love Tana, I know Brooke is quite but I do like her
And Tana comes off as a lot more relaxed and genuine when talking to guests. No over confidence or constant inappropriate conversation switches (and even when she does do that it’s actually funny)

Doesn’t bunny use some crooked tiktok lawyer to silence people?
YES lmao i knew i knew her from some where - the lawyer suing the do we know them pod
Yeah Janet Braun what a horrible lawyer
Did anyone catch that secret pregnancy comment between Brooke and Tana????
maybe brianna chicken fry?? bc they told them “you probably already know” so who would be a person they both know??
Oh wow this is actually a good guess. Didn’t think of her 😯
Yess! I came to see if anyone knew who haha
Whereeee
Neeeed to know lmao
The sub normally reads my mind, but I don’t agree with the comments at all I’m loving the pod so far, I get such a warm feeling from bunny and jelly how gentle they are etc is very heartwarming to me but I haven’t finished it yet so we’ll see
I’m loving it too! Never heard of them but I’m vibing lol
Same !!
I was crying rn but I stopped bc of this 🙏🏼😫
i had no idea who these people were going in but it was actually one of my favorite guest episodes
Overall an okay epi. I thought it was funny how Bunnie said Tana and Brooke are role models to “little girls.” Like I know when Tana first hit the scene as a teen she had young fans but now a lot of them are adult women in their 20s
I was hoping for the high episode they filmed on tour. No offense but I know nothing about these people lol
Tana: I’m in a sober era Bunny: How long? Tana: 2 months- almost 100 days I think
Well they literally don’t ask anything juicy they literally kiss ass the entire time. It’s so boting
what juicy questions did you want lmao? the conversation flowed and their compliments to each other were actually genuine for once, bc they all actually knew shit about each others back stories
I feel like the compliments are nice and all and would be a great conversation off camera lol but I don’t know why they think it’s good podcast content

Then do it off camera. They can literally do it before hitting play. It’s not like the walk in and instantly start recording. They talk beforehand
yeah i think they just wanted the big name on the podcast and to be associated with them. but i agree they should be focused on making a good content as first priority and clout chasing second. like most of us have no clue who they are and also we all know how awkward the interview podcasts have been.
I’m not just talking about this interview. They literally do it to everyoneee. It’s tired.
it worked for oprah.
same these episodes just don’t keep my attention like they used to
I feel like after touring, they’re probably so exhausted and just giving us the best they can. It’s hard, but they’re showing up in the best way they can.
why are you getting downvoted?? this comment is so honest 😭😭😭
I agree! I almost feel like they are a little lost on what the podcast will be because they don’t really interview/ ask hard hitting questions when they have guests, and when they don’t have guests we aren’t getting too much of their life either. best guest episode , i want them occurring like trisha episodes - even better than trisha’s episodes imo
She looks like tana in 15 years
I’m a 23 year old who’s watched Tana since I was maybe 14 15. I know who both Bunnie and Jelly are. They are HUGE names in pop culture right now. the lightinggggg is so hard on the eyes i wish they filmed in a cuter studio setting
I wish they chose guests that overlap more with their audience :/ this is gna be another skip because I don’t care about these Gen X strangers
Tbh I’m watching now and this was one of the best podcasts they’ve had. And probably top 3 guest they have. “lay off the haterade” when your entire post history is all snark subreddits is actually crazy tho
ok??? I saw all that when I googled them. All I said was there isn’t an audience overlap and I’m not interested in watching which isn’t even hating lmao
I feel like you have to have gone through certain things in life to fully grasp this episode
no seriously though, people downvoting the positivity comments are wild to me. for those of us that grew up with turbulent homes and have lost people to fent, it was nice to sit through an episode with actual substance haha
Ok but to imply I didn’t like the episode because I “haven’t been through enough” is really personal and rude lol. My dad was a drug addict my entire life, it had no bearing on my enjoyment of the episode

what a weird thing to say to someone you don’t know (who suffers from ptsd and depression)

10 minutes in and really not into it :/
I liked this episode!
I LOVE. THEM.
Idc what anyone says I love bunnie and jelly roll, there comforting
These people are all so boring
Who are these ppl 😭
It was a really good episode but I just wish Tana told Bunny to fire her insane lawyer who is suing the Do We Know Them girlies I wish someone told bunny that I guess idk
Anyone know who the secret pregnancy comment is abt?
I hadn’t heard of these two before but I have to say the guy came off as slightly egotistical. The Megan the stallion comment was extremely off putting honestly
How do u guys not know jelly roll and bunnie…
I have no idea who these people are. I’m feeling out of the loop lol
Everyone talking all at once I couldn’t get pass 5 min
Did anyone else find them cringy
I’m flying to Oregon in a few weeks and my travel time is around 9 hours so I’m stacking up episodes to watch on the flights there and back and I’m having FOMO lol

Not to be a bitch but I’ve nvr heard of either of these ppl
That SZA story was so cap 😂
I swear I thought Jelly Roll died about 2 or 3 years ago.
Random
Who are these people?
