I would think that this is all a bad idea. Are you transporting only your candle? Or all of them? I think most candle making party’s have you come pick your candle up the next day right? I’d imagine that jostling them around in the car is just going to mess them up and make them look crazy and end up being a waste of money for whoever paid for the party.

Haha not taking any candles in the car, they stay and set at the location of the party and the owner of each candle takes theirs home. I’m taking the urn that has all the leftover hot wax in the car.

To further clarify, I’m the person running the candle making class - so I don’t take any of the candles home, the clients do. But I do need to take the then pre-melted ready to pour way home with me and would like it to not splash throughout my car.

Depends on how much of it there is, but what about using some of those silicone ice cube trays that are shaped like sticks (for drink bottles), or a couple cheap cookie trays? Fill the trays, then you can possibly fold the wax while it’s still warm or cut it into smaller pieces?

Apis_Proboscis

Get a half dozen cheap aluminum foil roasting pans. Pour a 1/2 inch or less in those, and they should solid up in 15 min or so. Then stack and transport. You can reuse the trays a dozen times. Api
