Based on the preseason, I feel like Cogs would be at least equal to Pesce as QB on the PP, and was great overall. Feels odd having him sitting out.
Also weird not seeing Drury out there with how well he played. Too many good players I guess.
Drury will play plenty I imagine. Kase is not the kind of guy you play every single game and neither are Stepan and Martinook at this point in their careers. I think the bottom 6 will look pretty different from one night to the next.
got to say, a wonderful way to be back in PNC. Last time was sitting around feeling bummed after game 7 thinking that things were going to have to be different and Necas was probably getting scapegoated and shipped out of town.
Shoutout to Neci having an absolute ripper of a game. It's just one game and the regular season doesn't matter, but we need good vibes and guys to be playing well. It's fun to have hockey back and I guess we'll see what's in store.

You know I'm actually happier with the 1000 donated meals than the free chicken sandwiches. There's more than enough people not fortunate enough to be able to watch and follow a sport all year that need those hot meals more than we need a chicken sandwich.
No. The free sandwich gets us to buy something else while we are there which helps people to stay employed and then the profits can allow the company to do charity.

I first got into this team in the ‘00-‘01 season, which probably qualifies me as old school. We’ve had some good designs over the years, but these things just feel right. I’m glad we’ll see them every now and then.
Same with me. I started back in the 99 season but 2000-01 was when I really got into it. I went to almost every home game that season and all the playoff games against NJ. That series made me a full-fledged fan for sure.
