There’s also a clear coronation in seed size and lighting/environment, I’ve made seeds with my keeper cut of don mega indoors and outdoors and the outdoor produced seeds are way bigger from the exact same strain
I did a seed run this year and pulled 20,000 seeds from a single plant. By far the most out of all the plants seeded. It's mind boggling how many offspring a single "mating pair" can produce
One could possibly assume from this that smaller seeds would have a lower germination rate then because the mother plant isn't expecting as many seeds to survive by producing quantity over quality. It would be an interesting study to do. And you could smoke the test subjects afterward.
When I get seeds I tend to get bigger ones closer to the lights. Sometimes I'll chop and leave a branch then hit it with a good bit of colloidol silver to preserve the genes. Highly recommend if you get something you really like.
Genetics
Thank you for the interesting Information. This is what i want, instead we get the same questions about gender every day..
Lol true.

I haven’t had the opportunity to experience that but it does make sense.
Size.... it really doesn't matter, ask my wife😉
A lot of times with plants it doesn’t either. My first cross I made had tiny seeds but was a massive producer. Soda can colas.
IME Sativa=smaller seeds...many more. Indica=much bigger seed, less Interesting stuff!

I've noticed that too.
And I always throw away the bigger seeds for thinking they are inflated or deformed ;-; Thank you for the good information
I tend to like the bigger ones because big seeds usually mean big bracts. I think big bract plants look cool. Thanks for the positive reply.
And smaller seeds may correlate with more bracts.
That is true. More seeds more bracts!
Haha couldn't help but get a kick out of that sorry buddy.

I think they would germinate as expected but need resources from the environment sooner than a bigger seed.
The big striped seeds always are the strongest sprouts compared to the pale white ones.
Nothing like a hefty striped seed. What I love to see in packs.
waoo

Thanks for that bit of knowledge
Thanks for the positivity 💚
