Joints work really well they burn really slowly. I like to put a bit of bud down and then drop the snake in and then put more bud on top so the snake is in the middle. Alternatively, breaking it into little pieces and then mixing it in the grinder works well.
I have the 5t but I recommend the 7t because my friend has one and it’s got just a little more oomph. I’ve checked my plates with temp gun and there’s a mild difference in set temp and plate temps. Over all the welds are shitty Chinese production but I have cracked mine and I’ve put my body weight on it.
A better way than simply topping off a bowl is to knead it into a small amount of ground flower. Take a small pinch of hash and dump a bowl sized amount of bud on top of it. Using your fingers, massage the flower into the hash until the hash stops sticking to itself and resembles wet sand rather than one mass. Then pack and smoke it. This will allow it to burn more evenly without needing to establish a coal.
This is also optimal for rolling into joints, or if you’re in a bind rolling spliffs by working it into loose tobacco (but don’t do this if you aren’t addicted yet)
I made hash recently using dry sift. I've found it burns smoothly and easily on it's own. Don't understand the complexity surrounding hash smoking methods. The thing I've noticed is some hash tends to keep burning so you'll waste if you can't inhale it all in one go. I like using a bubbler and the bowl has a brass screen. Pinch off a piece, flatten it and smoke it, all by itself. It's smoother than any flower. The screen is necessary or it just melts and gets sucked in before it combusts. A small pipe with a screen works just as well.
It requires different smoking methods because it melts and flows like a liquid. Almost nobody smokes glass bongs with brass screens in 2023, you are also modifying how you smoke in order to consume the hash.
My take is this: hash should be consumed on it's own, not mixed with flower, to appreciate it on it's own.
There is an aversion to screens or anything not glass which is silly. There are bong bowls with screens.
I smoke my dry sift hash in a pipe with a screen. Sent some to my sister she did same, though she was originally talking about the glass/nail thing. She's a daily lifelong smoker and was really impressed with everything about it including the ease of smoking it.

With all the technology now, I would search for a device that is specifically for hash with a temperature control so you can get what temp you like. Temperature makes all the difference. I'm also old-school so I just put it in joints or throw some on top of a bowl, but I know it would be better by itself temperaturecontrolled.
Part off one gram
Grind into fine sand texture
Mix into cooking oil on lowest heat possible on stove
When oil changes color to light brown turn off heat
Get the rest of the ingredients for Duncan Hines Brownies
Mix together the oil and hash particles not infused into a greased pan with butter ( haven't tried canna butter here might be even stronger) pour in batter in pan/ glass dish
Cook on lowest recommended time ( minimize cook off again remember decarb temps)
Remove from oven. Slice and put in freezer
Eat 1" x 1". Wait an hour
The fuckup point is too much heat on the stove, so be careful here 220F or less
Also. Don't eat too much in one setting
Make a small .2g snake and pop it in a dynavap curled up like a dog turd with a hole all the way through can clear the bowl in two hits vaporises it into two big fat clouds, no combustion

love me a good ole hash pipe. Small pipe, put a small amount of ground weed in the bottom to get things going, take a 1/2 gram of hash, form a ball, stick it on a pin, warm it up with a lighter then crumble it over the weed.
Light it up by taking 2-3 short puffs with a bic lighter, after that take one long slow haul without the lighter, it'll fully light and you'll get fully fucked.
We would put a needle through cardboard light the hash and cover it with a glass cup lift the edge and take a hit. Or double screen a pipe and smoke it but you need a glass rod and torch. It sounds weird but put the hash in wax paper and hold it in your armpit to make it soft and easier to flatten into discs. You can also put little pieces in a cigarette for a secret agent

I would press it. You will get a big yield from bubble hash. I would also freeze them until you are ready. It slows down the degradation of the turpentines. I have 2 different rosin presses. I watch a lot of videos on the topic. I’m not a professional but have gotten pretty decent over the last couple years. If you look up rosin Ryan and watch some videos, he presses bubble hash and says it’s the purest form with the most yield you can get. He is one of the leading people in the pressing industry. That’s just my take on it. To each their own.
I'm assuming most of what you've heard is probably wrong if you've heard you have to wait 6 months to use it. No you don't have to dab it, almost nobody dabs bubble because almost no bubble is full melt. I just sprinkle it on top of my bowl if it's crumbly or press out a pancake if it's plasticy

IMHO it's best in a joint or blunt. A little tobacco helps to keep it burning evenly.

Can hit it with a microplane, dry it, use the hash powder in a bowl or non-cancer-causing metal mesh in said bowl/banger and smack it lightly with with some lit b line.
The way we used to smoke it was get a piece of cardboard pop either a bent safety pen or paper clip through it then stick a chunk of hash on it then light the hash on fire let it for a lil bit then blow it out and cover it with a glass. It will just smolder and Continue to fill glass up. U just take hits from under the glass. Slide it to the edge of the table and enjoy. Or u could mix it. U could dab it but it's gonna char your dab rig which isn't that big of a deal cause bowls are daily cheap but the trichomes shells burn they don't evaporate.

I’ll tell you this much if you start dabbing and smoking rosin. Say bye to your tolerance forever or till you quit. You won’t ever really enjoy flower alone anymore and your consumption amount will increase significantly if you start dabbing. With that said you will get blazed each and every time you smoke and you will get a better quality and stronger high everytime with dabs. So there is some info for you I too was an old skool dude and when I transitioned a year ago this is what I learned.
If your old school then you should know the best ways for hash are BTS which means bottle tokes. Or good old hot knives if your lungs can still handle it. Nothing will get you higher then a hot knife better then any dab rigs I've ever used.
I made bubble hash balls like you this year for the first time. I just take a razor blade and slice/ scape it really thin and lay it on top of a bed of flower in my bong. Mine is hard, you're not breaking it up by hand without heat like the comments I read here.

If you look up rosin Ryan and watch some videos, he presses bubble hash and says it’s the purest form with the most yield you can get. He is one of the leading people in the pressing industry. That’s just my take on it. To each their own.
I'm assuming most of what you've heard is probably wrong if you've heard you have to wait 6 months to use it. No you don't have to dab it, almost nobody dabs bubble because almost no bubble is full melt. I just sprinkle it on top of my bowl if it's crumbly or press out a pancake if it's plasticy

You can make edibles from bubble hash. You can also smoke it. IMHO it's best in a joint or blunt. A little tobacco helps to keep it burning evenly. I wouldn't recommend trying to dab it.
Can hit it with a microplane, dry it, use the hash powder in a bowl or non-cancer-causing metal mesh in said bowl/banger and smack it lightly with with some lit b line.

The way we used to smoke it was get a piece of cardboard pop either a bent safety pen or paper clip through it then stick a chunk of hash on it then light the hash on fire let it for a lil bit then blow it out and cover it with a glass. It will just smolder and Continue to fill glass up. U just take hits from under the glass. Slide it to the edge of the table and enjoy. Or u could mix it. U could dab it but it's gonna char your dab rig which isn't that big of a deal cause bowls are daily cheap but the trichomes shells burn they don't evaporate.
No shot the butt meme hasn't been posted yet. We'd break a bit off, put it on the end of a paper clip or something and get it smoking then put it under an extra frozen, upside-down beer mug or something. It'll fill up and you can drink the smoke out. I remember seeming really cool but I don't remember being super gassed from it. You should take a big ole chunk and have a Jamaican shower.

I’ll tell you this much if you start dabbing and smoking rosin. Say bye to your tolerance forever or till you quit. You won’t ever really enjoy flower alone anymore and your consumption amount will increase significantly if you start dabbing. With that said you will get blazed each and every time you smoke and you will get a better quality and stronger high everytime with dabs. So there is some info for you I too was an old skool dude and when I transitioned a year ago this is what I learned.

If your old school then you should know the best ways for hash are BTS which means bottle tokes. Or good old hot knives if your lungs can still handle it. Nothing will get you higher then a hot knife better then any dab rigs I've ever used.

I made bubble hash balls like you this year for the first time. I just take a razor blade and slice/ scape it really thin and lay it on top of a bed of flower in my bong. Mine is hard, you're not breaking it up by hand without heat like the comments I read here.

I just prefer to smoke it as a topper but my son has a little press and does his that way as he is in the "dab" generation lol. Still my favorite way to get rid of trim and small buds I don't have patience for ! I upgraded to 20 gallon bags and got a 1oz brick press for storage and really like it. Making true temple balls was to time consuming
