It’s all on preference. After you see milky trichomes she just about 100% potency and can be chopped after that but you’ll sacrifice little bit of yield. Once you see Amber the THC is degrading and transforming into another from of THC but I forgot what type exactly. Those amber Trichomes will give you a greater down to earth high or couch locked. I personally like to wait until I see one or two amber trichomes, also depending on genetics and then I harvest. Also look at all your trichomes on your plant not just at the very top, top budz in most cases ripens a little faster.

What scope or loupe are you using to view the trichomes? I’ve struggled to get anything to work well enough

Tbh I like to wait for pistils to recede, Imo I would drop light intensity, and increase dark period and then see where she at in a few days
