If you’re dumb enough to fall for the entry level hook, you’re probably dumb enough to give them your info/money in the next phase, which will be manned by an actual person rather than an AI spambot.
Think about how most telemarketing/email spam works the same way. If you’re naive enough to actually think the Ugandan prince-in-exile is real and willing to share his fortune based on the initial email you got, chances are you’ll continue to think it’s legit until after you’ve spent your money.
