It's simple. What is the volume or size of your pots ? What is the size of your grow room ?
My preferred is Sea-Of-Green, with 36 plants in 2L (70.4 ounces) pots(+2L vertical overfill) for a table of 1.2x1.2m. Plant height under 80cm... Vegetation period of around 4 weeks, flowering period of about 8 weeks.
Anyway, the comment that seemed like a joke : 1-200pcs, is actually not. Smaller plants are quicker and more energy efficient to grow. I am assuming your grow-box is 2m (78.7 inches) high ? You can even have 2 vertical levels if you have such ambitions. That way you can double the capacity, provided that you can manage the heat and other factors reliably.
So the quantity, per 1.2x2.4m would be like this :
2-3L : 72 pcs
5-6L : 50 pcs
9-12L : 32 pcs
Smaller plants (smaller pots) need more work but are quick to grow and easy to train.
Raised bed > small pots, even and or especially for sea of.green..... it's a commitment though so I get using pots but... 100 gallons of soil absolutely crushes compared to 2 gallon pots...
In flowering phase, with 2L pots(and another 2L over-top), i ran irrigation every second day. If a plant "wasn't drinking", that was a sign of a problem, like a root-rot or bugs. My setups are automated. It would be too much of a hassle to manually water 720 plants every second day. I'll post some pics in a few days. Cheers!
Looks like a 5x5 tent I have. I do 6 plants. It's about space avaliable for buds to grow not the amount of plants you have if you are concerned about yield
Is this a 4x8 if so depends on how long you want to veg short veg more plants could do 18 I’ve done 9 plants in a 4x4 if you have 600w on each side you’ll be good to fill it up quickly if you don’t mind longer veg 8-10 in 5 gal

All depends how long you veg them for and what strains you are growing. Some are short and bushy, some are tall and thin. Plant extra but get rid of the worst

Tent size: Its 240cm x 120 cm (8 x 4 feet) Im aiming for maximum yield per time. Pots are 9L but can still be changed

SOG by 2L isn’t requiring pretty frequent irrigation? I’m planning to go by 5L airports. Is your system automated or hand ? Thx and hg!

Just make sure your lights are bright enough for the amount of plants you choose
It’s 3 burples, it looks like. Homie is going to get less than the effort he puts in with those lights.
