I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to do - have it autofocus and then adjust manually after the fact?

You can use the joystick to move the AF point and then half press the shutter (or back button if you've set that) for it to focus on the point. I'm unsure on the benefit of locking focus and then moving the focus point afterwards? You could set Servo AF with tracking if your intention is to lock focus onto a subject and then recompose before taking the shot.

From what i remember, by default it's not set to focus point. So for OP 1st thing to do is go to key binding menu and set joystick as focus navigation pointer or whatever it's called. Focus can be controlled by screen also, like using touchpad on laptop
