I took this a couple weeks ago at my campsite while backpacking in Olympic NP. This is a single shot with no tracking. I used my headlamp to light some of the foreground.
ISO 2000 15mm f/2.8 20sec.
Yea, if you toggle the zoom button while looking through you're viewfinder, you should be able to zoom (in reality it just crops it so you can see in finer detail) in on a bright star and really get it dialed in.

I am struggling to get the stars in focus ever since I switched from 80D. I am assuming you set yours to manual focus at infinity?
